Audio cracks and pops.

I have a dv9924ca (dv9000 series) with vista. I just bought it, so it is at factory specs. When I play media, mainly mp3's the audio from the speakers breaks up. I plugged into the headphone jacks and it still does it, so it must be the audio driver or something, but that is up to date (Conexant High Definition SmartAudio 221). Does anyone have this problem or know how to fix it? I am thinking of downloading "the codecs" package to see if that helps, but figured i would try this first.

Thanks in advance.

Well I finally got around to delete the driver from device manager and installing a new one, and it is still making those damn crackling noises. . Any other ideas?

My Philips 625 DVD player has stopped playing MP3 CDs although it did before.

Try doing a factory reset on the unit see if that clears the problem.

How do i get my speaker to work at high volume with out them cracking, popping destort

If you are using the factory installed speakers they aren't made for the wattage output of your receiver. Factory stereos only put out about 5 to 10 watts. If you want to play it really loud you need to replace them with speakers that have a higher wattage that what your receiver puts out, which is a maximum of 50 watts

Can you play a mp3 on this radio and if so how

According to the specs it can play MP2 and MP2 music files,
You can check the specs from this WEB site.
http://shop.panasonic.com/shop/model/SC-HC27?t=specs
You need to copy the MP3 music files to an USB memory stick and connect it to the Panasonic then select the USB memory stick music file to play.

The audio jack itself is faulty - I would call GPX to see if this one is still under warranty.

V Sony NW-S205F

Check whether its compatible with Vista. Also if you are trying to use a "cracked' software in Vista, it simply wont respond to any command or recognize the devices its supposed to because Vista does not allow any extra drivers to be added other than those preset in the OS driver database....sodeep

There are no instructions in the instruction manual as to how I transfer songs to the MP3 player. Sorry, but I need MP3's' for Dummies. It's the JX-MP102. PLEASE HELP!

Just bought the JX-MP102 find it difficult to use but was able to download songs from a windows xp laptop - plug the mp3 player into the usb port and turn on just as you would for playing music its screen should light up and the computer will pop up a screen with several options click to start windows explorer and from there you can got to place holding music files and copy them the disk letter which represents  the MP3 player. On my machine my main files are on the C disk and a new D disk pops up for MP3 player. I also have a windows vista machine and it also recognizes the player as a new disk drive just like a flash drive.  Unfortunately I can the player to work for a few minutes at best right now even with the music files successfully loaded and playing so I may return it tomorrow. Hope you have better luck.

My mp3 play is not working.

First I would connect my MP3 to the internet then I would reformat it. then try to download your songs again. I would also try to use an sd card loaded with MP3 music to review the MP3. This is the main reason I bought this MP3 myself. I download audio books on sd cards.
