Wii won't turn on.

Reset the AC adapter by following steps below.

1. Unplug the Wii AC adapter at both ends (from the back of the
Wii system and from the wall outlet or power strip).

2. After you've waited a full 2 minutes, plug the AC adapter back in on both ends and check to see if the power light comes on.

Wii Console Turns On, But Has No Power Light Situation:
  • The power LED on the system does not come on, but the system still powers on and plays

Information:
If the Wii Console is still working normally, it is likely that the power LED is broken.
This issue will remain limited to the Power LED, and will not get any worse.
Unless the system is having other problems, continue using the console regularly for a few weeks to determine whether this interferes with the enjoyment of game play.

Situation Not Resolved:
If, after using the system for awhile, the Power LED not coming on is too distracting, the Wii Console does carry a one-year warranty.
We are happy to inspect and, if necessary, fix the system at no charge within the warranty period. To start the repair process, click here.

Is my wii turned off? I pressed the power button but there is still a yellowish light. And then the opening for the disks has the blue light that won't shut off. So is it turned off or is something...

The Wii can stay connected to the internet to keep itself and apps, such as the weather and news, current. If you have the yellow light and the glowing blue disc slot, this feature is on.
You can go to the Wii's settings to turn the feature off.
