If the monitor is not working then it should not be related to the camera. Do you see any error message on the monitor? Try unplugging it from your computer and tell me what you see on the screen.
Not knowing the hardware, like if you have onboard video or a video card make it hard to help.
Try booting in safe mode, this does not use the video drivers, if you had to install any, this uses generic windows drivers, this can root out a driver problem.
Try it on a different PC, laptop. If the same thing happens on a different system its usually the monitor, check the warranty at the MFG website.
See if you can get the menu on the monitor to come up, reset to default and see if helps, read manual for settings.
If you have windows, use devise MGR to update the video driver.
Inspect the power cord after you unplug it. both ends.
I am experiencing the same issue. My monitor will not come out of sleep mode. HP informed me to purchase another power cord, but it yielded the same results. Any solutions????? Thanks
WOW another all in one problem. Looks like you are just about ready to be without a computer for a while. If you at least had things separate instead of being an all in one you could just plug another monitor and keep on rolling.
It sounds like either the LCD Inverter or the LCD Screen has issues.
If the buttons are micro-switch type buttons (like you would have on a car's alarm remote) and they don't have the proper feel, then the monitor is probably ready for the recycle bin. Doing a little looking around it appears that the monitor you have is prone to failure. I think you should look into a replacement. Samsung makes a great monitor these days. I would steer clear of anything made by HP. Here is a link to someone else's woes with that particular monitor. Good luck!
This may sound ridiculous, but I recently spent two weeks troubleshooting a monitor that wouldn't display properly. Turns out it wasn't plugged in all the way. Make sure that it is plugged in properly, and that your computer/device is displaying TO that monitor.

Plug the monitor into another computer to determine if the monitor is damaged or working properly. You can also plug another monitor into your computer to determine the same thing.
it thinks this is no input signal. make sure your computer is on and the cables are secure, switch your screen with a known good one from a freind. this will rule out your computer. if the pc is fgood maybe go into the bad monitor menu settings and make sure the input mode is correct. if this is not the cause you may need to have it repair, your monitor video or display board maybe bad.
