What is the model number? This error code FF indicates a problem with the main control board. When the power cord is disconnected for 30 seconds and then reconnected, it resets the board. Sometimes this procedure corrects the problem and sometimes it does, for only a short period of time. Usually in this case, the main board will need to be replaced.
the food in the freezer is getting warm (de freezing?) because you have a faulty part. changing the dial now wont do any good, but it should be in the middle setting. I cant tell what part is bad with your lack of description.
if the compressor buzzes periodically but doesnt start then that would be a bad "starting capacitor" (usually mounted on or near the compressor with wires to the compressor .. if the compressor runs but no cooling then thats low refrigerant (it has to be recharge) ..
The F11 error code indicates a communication failure between the main control board and the power board. This includes both boards & the wiring harness as potential
defective components. However, this is usually the main machine control
board that needs replaced.
Hi. this will be a failed relay on that circuit board. This is called the PCB(main unit power control board). This board controls the compressor relay functions, and the compressor power current, as well. The evaporator fan, and condenser fan, receives their respective current from this power control board, also. When a circuit board of this nature begins to malfunction, it will cause the unit to not cool properly, due to limited, or no fan actions, or a failed compressor cycle. I would recommend to replace this damaged control board, asap.
The freezer is probably in need of defrosting. This usually occurs when the freezer has been over packed. It needs to be able to ahve air flow through it, there are holes in the back of the freezer and a defrosting element at the top and they need to be clear in order to keep it frost free. It happend to me and we called an engineer out. solved it by using hair dryer to defrost it.
ok if compressor is running the you have a leak or restriction if frezeer is under five years old call the manufacture to get it fix but you have to be sure is running if is not running the it just might be the overload repl it and it will start again
