How to returned my webcam on my loptop when my loptop is upgrade to windows 7 my webcam is lost. before is windows xp.

You have to download windows 7 driver for your webcam because it will not function if you did not install the driver for window 7. Check the brand name and model example a4tech, go their official website and search for the driver commonly you can download the driver by clicking the tab support or download. In case you can not find the driver for windows 7 you can not use your camera. In that case you need to buy a webcam that supported by windows 7 or has a driver for windows 7. Or downgrade your operating system to windows xp! Have a nice day!

Hello there, i have this webcam model Intel CS 431 and Windows 7 on my computer. So this webcam doesn work on Windows 7? Thank you

Hi,
The webcam will work on Windows 7 - just download the latest drivers available from the intel website for the webcam, if windows 7 is not listed just download the windows vista drivers and if they do not work then try the xp drivers, you will be able to get it working with the drivers available as win 7 is quite clever like that.

I got a new cimputer with windows 7, will my webcam work on it? Cann't find anything about windows 7, on instructions.

It should. Most webcams do not require any additional drivers or software. Just plug it in and see if Windows 7 sees it.

What webcam compatible with window 7 on an emachine

Any webcam can be available for use with Windows 7. A webcam is just an imaging device so the webcam itself is fine. However, if the webcam's manufacturer neglected to update their drivers for Windows 7, then you may likely run into problems.

I can't say for certain whether the webcam(s) you are interested in will work with Windows 7, you will have to look look on the manufacturer's website to see if it has Windows 7 compatibility. If you still aren't sure which webcam to go with, try Logitech or Microsoft. They've updated all their drivers to work with Windows 7.

I need to update my labtec webcam/mic driver to work with windows 7 can this be done

First check the labtec website to see if they have a Windows 7 driver for it.
If not, it might be that Windows 7 supports the webcam directly, but I guess you have tried that.
Last option is to look for a compatible webcam driver for Windows 7 which is not from Labtec. This is possible since Labtec uses third party webcam components. Try using a driver finder application for that.

I have a presario c700. after installing windows 7, the web cam is not detectable. Why is that?

Because most of the companies have not yet released the drivers for win7. Anyways here is a driver with compatibility mode with your existing web cam possibly a bit efficiency of cam may decrease. Update the driver when its officially released.

Need drivers webcam for windows 7

Currently there aren't any drivers for your computer with Windows 7. Dell only offers drivers for your computer with Windows XP or Windows Vista. I would try using the Creative Labs Webcam Driver they have for Vista. Since many things about Vista & 7 are similar, often the drivers for Vista will work with Windows 7. Go to dell.com, enter the model of your computer, choose Vista as your operating system, then go to Input Devices, choose the Creative Webcam and download the driver to your desktop (I suggest against using Dell's Download Manager, just download via your browser like you usually would). Then install the driver. With any luck your will be up and running with your webcam.
