I have had a Galaxy Tablet for almost a month...tonight it froze on a website...I powered off, and it then frozeon the verizon startup screen...called verizon and did a wipe and reboot..took nearly 10 min to finally come on....well it didn't factory reset like i was told it was all my stuff was still on it....problam is hardly any of my apps work....getting error messages "unexpected errors" "force close" etc...i thought if i just restarted it would be fine but again took almost 10 minutes to come back up with same issues. Help
Update your firmware by using your sd card... place sd card in compurter...Go to galaxy website download firmware to your sd card then follow direction from website how to start the download on your galaxy.Good luck

Seems like the digitizer isn't working anymore u may wanna get ur tablet examined but to quickly turn off some tablets is to press and hold the power key till it shuts off and not lock the screen
I just had that problem. Hold the power button down for at least 10 seconds or until it powers down. Froze mid game and emitted a shrill sound also. Hope this helps.
If your Samsung GT-P1000 Galaxy TAB is frozen and unresponsive, press and hold [POWER ] for 8-10 seconds. The device will reboot automatically. If this does not solve the problem, perform a factory data reset. In Menu mode, select Settings ? Privacy ? Factory data reset ? Reset phone ? Erase everything
