My phone doesn't find the device (Jabra bt3030, version unknown) even when it's solid blue and i search for a bluetooth device on my phone(HTC Desire HD, Andriod 2.3.5).It have worked before, but never after i updated my phone. could it be that i need to update the firmware on the device? in that case, where can i find the latest firmware?

But in case they drop support soon, turn the beastie on, press and hold the Vol+ and Answer Call buttons till the "on" light goes solid. You're now in discover mode.

you have to make sure your blue tooth device is in discovery mode most devices you just hold the power button for 6 to 10 seconds when turning it on,if you have it in discovery mode they will pair and you will be asked for a pin or pairing code ,most blue tooth manufactures use a 4 digit code they are as follows 0000,1234,1111 or 9999 i hope this helps

You must specify what type of phone, make and model. there are some phones that just will not sync with some headsets. I have actually owned a couple of phones that would not sync with my Jabra headset.
