To get the PUK code for the LG Shine, you need to call 1-800-331-0500 which is customer support. Tell them you have a lg shine and need the puk code. They will ask your phone number with area code, the last 4 digits of the ss# on that account.
They will supplie the code to you and your phone will be free. If you enter in the wrong code too many times, You'll end up having to buy a New SIM Card!
Why does everyone say you call or go to the store? you log on to att.com and log in then go to my phone/device and hit unlock sim card. =)
Once its blocked that means the sim is blocked completley. it really doesnt have anything to do with the phone itself. the only way u can fix it is by getting a new sim card because it is now trash.
Don't try to enter a PUK code without knowing the right one. You need to call your service provider to get this code. It can be as many as 8 digits, and it is random. If you enter too many wrong codes, you can permanently damage the device.
Ok first take out your sim them on the back theres should be 4 didgits remember those didgits then put i back in turn on your phone then put those 4 didgits in then you should have it

This happened to me, my whole PUK got blocked. So The best solution is take it to any good cellular and ask them if they can get you a sim with the same no.
Dont Worry, just call your service provider and ask for the PUK code. The same thing happened to me, and I just called and problem solved.

and it says that the default puk code is 0000
i dont know if it is cause my phone wont let me do anything but...

hey,
time to get a new sim card, call your service provider or if you used a prepaid card buy a new prepaid card.
you can return the card to your service provider or cut it to parts and throw away.
noting wrong with the phone and it will work perfectly with any other sim card.

The puk code is sim card spesific it comes with the sim card when you get it or you can get it by calling your phone service provider of the sim card to get the puk code.
if you have entered the puk code wrong too many times you will make the sim card useless and you will have to contact your phone service provider for a new sim card, it will probably cost.

I have had the same issue. I guess after the tenth time you are blocked for good. Only after did I realize that you can go onto yu account and get the PUK code under phone/device...

Same exact problem. Annoying because you never actually try to hack into the phone, you just try to set a code, and just getting it wrong 3 times, then 8 times, screws you over for some reason.
