Display on GE Convection JSP968 keeps saying LOC ON when I try to turn it on?
My GE Convention JSP968's display when I try to turn it on keeps coming up LOC ON. i've unplugged for 1 minute and replugged an that didn't work. Can't get it to turn on, any ideas?
Re: Display on GE Convection JSP968 keeps saying LOC ON...
The self cleaning lever (that locks the door) is moved to the clean position. try moving it to clean then back to the off position and that should fix it.
ThanKS Theresa, My door locks automatically when I press clean so I don't have a lever. I wish it were that simple. Anyone else out there?ThanKS Theresa, My door locks automatically when I press clean so I don't have a lever. I wish it were that simple. Anyone else out there?

This should clear the error codes:
Power off the unit, wait 5 minutes then restore the power.
Press the broil and bake keys simultaneously and "SF" will be displayed.
Press "Hr. Down" and "Minute Down" keys simultaneously for 3 seconds, then the time of day will be displayed.
Press "Temp Up" and "Minute Up." The control panel will display the following:
Go blank briefly
Display all segments briefly
Display "LOC REF" briefly
Display all segments again for 30 seconds
Display "LOC REF"
Acknowledge the "LOC REF" by pressing the "Hour Down" and "Minute Up."
Test control pads. Oven should now function.
The LOC light indicates the front panel lock is on. This keeps you from starting the oven when cleaning the panel; it also keeps children from turning on the oven. To disable the lock, press and hold Bake and Broil Hi/Lo together for 2+ seconds until SF appears on the display. Then press Self Clean. Then press Start to exit the Special Functions menu.
HI. This is a control lock out feature. This is a child safety feature, and not a oven fault. Simply, Press the Nine and zero pad, simultaneously, until the "LOC" code disappears.
You said, Your Electrolux built in wall oven, lights and digital display work fine,
fan works fine, but the oven will not heat regardless of the mode
(broil, bake, convention roast, convection bake)
First, 1.What is the Model Number and the year of your wall oven? 2.Did the oven light up and display with any error codes? 3. Did you try to turn the breaker off for 5 minutes to see if this will reset the system?
Perhaps the heating element is failing and may need to be replaced. I will be able to better assist you when you reply with this information. Waiting your response. Huuum
