SOURCE: How do you adjust the belt for a Weslo Cadence 815 treadmill?

Hi, I don't have a manual on your particular treadmill but most all treadmills use the same type of belt tension and tracking, which is an allen screw adjustment on the rear tension bar. One on either side. You should have been provided an allen wrench with your treadmill, if not then use one of your own the proper size. Make the adjustment with the unit running at its slowest speed. Clockwise tightens the tension and will draw the belt. Good Luck, this should Fixya!

Hello i have a weslo cadence 260 treadmill,it runs for about 1 minute then stops, the motor stops too,i have to keep tuning it off and on for it to work again, whats the problem with it,would be great if you...

It sounds like you have a worn deck and (or) belt. If the machine runs just fine without being on it but stops when someone is on it, then it sounds like a worn belt/deck.
The friction under the belt is so great that it overworks the motor to the point where it shuts itself down. The surface needs to be slick and smooth for the motor to work the least amount.
You could try to put some silicone under the walking belt and see if it helps. It really depends on how many miles are on it.

The belt is tight why does it still slip

Hello, If the walk belt is tight, you will want to remove the motor hood and watch that the drive belt and motor are staying at the correct speed when the walk belt slips. The most likley cause is the front drive pully on the front roller. This sometimes looses adheshion with the front roller and slips, usually when you are running. After it gets reallt bad it will slip when walked on.

Hope this helps.

I have a used Weslo Cadense 927 treadmill. I need to adjust the the tread, it's rubbing the side.

When you purchased the treadmill it came with an allen wrench to assemble the machine. That is the adjustment tool.
Inspect the rear plastic cap (the adjustment bolts are there) make sure it is not damaged. If the plastic is broken, it will need to be replaced. This job is not easy. If it is not broken, adjust the belt as follows..
If the belt is already rubbing, locate the adjustment screw at the back of the treadmill on the side that is rubbing.Adjust that screw tuning it 1/2 turn clockwise. Move the belt manually 3 full rotations.. If it is still rubbing, turn another 1/4 turn. Again move the belt manually 3 rotations. Once the rubbing stops, run the machine slowly and watch the belt from the back of the machine..

Is the Welso Cadence 927 Treadmill in miles or Km?

hi, the console can display speed and distance in either kilometers or miles!
step 1/ move the key and hold down the stop button.
step2/ reinsert the key into the console, after you hear a bleep tone release the stop button and an "m" for kilometers or an "e" for english miles will appear in the display. press the speed in-crease button to change the unit of measurement.
step 3/ when you have chosen the miles take the key off and reinsert it. hopefully you should have changed your units to whatever you have chosen.
