Trying to do an online assessment, but my screen resolution did not meet the requirements for me to take the assessment...The required screen resolution was 1024 X 768...and the recommended (native) screen resolution for my laptop is 1366 X ???(I forgot) but it is at least 768. Why wouldn't it suffice?
No maker of monitor or model stated why not google that, maker name , model # and manual read the manual , in 1min. learn max reso. works for any monitor on earth. in window 10 , right click screen then pick display settings bingo current RESO.
Your system's display drivers might not accept certain resolutions. sometimes changing your display(monitor) can cause problems like this, when it is not the same as original build limits?

check and make sure that you are using the Intel drivers and not the default windows xp drivers. The default drivers are very limited and only offer a few different resolutions to choose from.

I have the same problem. i downloaded a generic driver that allows 1600 X 900 resolution. this is better..things are taller rather than wider (with the 1280X1024 resolution). i dont understand why there isnt a 1440X900 driver available for XP systems.

SOURCE: im trying ti install heroes 4 and it say I need
Hello,
Your using Windows OS 7, which is fairly new. This is great for programs but not for games. Heroes 4 is a older game, so there are some compadablility problems.
As for your memory and HD space you should be fine since the requirements are low.
Solutions: Look for programs which allows you to run virtual OS of pervious generations of windows (such as windows xp). This should solve your problem. Otherwise if you have 2 HDD on your laptop/computer you can make one drive into a older OS. Then run the game from that HD.
Good luck, and rate my response.
