Mitsubishi WS-65807 blinks '22'

I have a Mitsubishi WS-65807 65" rear projection TV that just decided not to power up anymore. When you turn the power on, the led lights and then the set turns itself off.

I researched the problem and fout out how to 'read' the error, and it's blinking a '22'.

I pulled the center board and checked pico fuses F9A04 and F9A05 and they appear to be blown. I plan to replace both of those, and I suppose I should replace the STK392-570 convergence ICs too?

Any help would be appreciated!

    WS-65907
    I also have code 2-2 with power on it turns off in 1-2 sec. no picture. I haven't found the ic chips yet but I did find the pico fuses. I'm going to test the fuses, but everything I've been reading says to replace the ic chips and any open fuses.
    Hope we can get a sure answer. A lot of forum topics just end with no result :(

I replaced the pico fuses and the convergence IC's. fuses poped right away code 22 . Further inspection of the board showed the coolant had leaked out of the center projector and fried the board. Not willing to pay $300. Passed it on to someone else

Add hdmi port to mitsubishi ws-65807

I doubt it as it was never designed for that kind of input, Component works best on this set and it should have only one HD input for a box marked in the menu as DTV.

I just got a WS 65807 from a family member who didn't want it anymore. By the time we moved it to our home, it doesn't work at all - no lights, no error blinking, nothing. The only thing I can notice is...

Yes,if u want put in like $400-500 bucks into the tv unit? This tv is completely dead, like have no major high voltages response to the tv at all.Mean the FBT-Flyback transformer is totally dead, that why tv have no high voltages at all, that why there is no current to the screen at all, like no blinking LED power light.Deflection circuitries sections also must be troubleshooting and replacing parts to make the tv power supply board section to sustance power for the tv to make it work.

Mitsubishi WS-65807 blinks '22'

Jim,
yes the convergence Ics are what cause the two picos to be open they are both 5 amp picos. You can get the picos, the convergence ICs and the factory service manual for your model at the following link.your model is known as the V17 chassis for service manuals and you should require two STK392-570 Convergence ICs. Heres the link they provide free instalation instructions.

MITSUBISHI WS-65807. TV WON'T POWER ON AND PICTURE WAS NOT ALIGNED PROPERLY.

Good Day;

Your TV has "poor" connections on the Convergence IC's. Please get repaired B4 you have total part failure and more costly repair.

Good Luck, big IRISH.
