How to get the page count on a Ricoh Aficio copier

On Ricoh's Aficio line of copiers, you can get the page count without having to print out a configuration page or status page. To see the page count of an Aficio copier, follow the steps below.

For models with touch screens:

With the copier turned on, press the User Tools/Counter button on the operation panel. (If User Tools and Counter are two separate buttons on the model you are using, press the Counter button, and the page count will be displayed -- that's all there is to it.) When the User Tools menu appears on the screen, press the Counter button on-screen (typically located in the lower left or lower right corner).

The copier's page count will be displayed on the screen. For copiers with additional functions (such as printing) the page count will also be broken down by function. Color copiers will display a color page count and a black and white page count, but not a total count.

You can print out a hard copy of the page count if you want it for your records, or to fax somewhere. To print the counter, press the Print button on the screen, then press the Start button (on the right side of the operation panel).

For models without a touch screen:

With the copier turned on, press the User Tools/Counter button on the operation panel (typically located just to the left or right of the display screen). The User Tools options will appear. If Counter is the highlighted option, press the OK button to select it; otherwise, use the arrow buttons to select Counter, then press OK.

The counter will be displayed on screen, but you can print it out by pressing the selection button below where Print is displayed, then pressing Start.

Samsung clp 315 printing shadow images

Ghosting appears often because of bad toner. If cartridges have been refilled, they have wrong toner in them. If drum has worn out it will usually tell you. All parts for this machine cost too much. If toner is not the problem, probably best to get a new machine rather than pay to get it fixed. Brothers are cheaper to run.
