The gas won't shut off once I release the trigger, sometimes the wire continues as well.

The gas will continue to flow for about a minute, then I can hear a solenoid click inside the welder and the gas stops. Occasionally the same happens with the wire feed. Is this a problem with the trigger or a sticky solenoid?

Hi:The solenoid valve gets the current once the switch is activated (pressed) therefore my opinion is that you have a sticky trigger. or one of the terminals of the cables it's shorting out.Change the trigger or better yet check that the terminals are clear and not touching other parts of the handle.

I'll try checking the trigger terminals and replacing the trigger if need be. Thanks a lot for the help!

Karcher electric power washer480 .pump runs on when trigger is released there are no leaks . Also i can not turn machine off at the main switch.

If you are unable to shut off the pressure from the wand, there may be an issue with the unloader valve that is stopping it from switching into bypass mode when the trigger wand is released. The unloader valve is designed to respond to the spike in pressure created when the trigger wand is released, and to divert the flow of water coming from the pump to bypass the pressure hose and flow back into the intake end of the pump. If the unloader valve fails to switch into bypass mode, water may continue to flow out of the trigger wand. This may also cause damage to the wand. If you are unable to shut off the pressure from your power washer, stop the engine and discontinue use immediately. The unloader valve should be removed and possibly replaced if found to be malfunctioning. The inability to stop the flow of high-pressure water from the wand can be dangerous and should be fixed before continuing to use the machine.

Problem: Gas flows continuously; Torch will not pilot when torch switch is activated; AC indicator ON 1. System is in SET mode a. Change to RUN / Rapid Auto Restart / SET switch to RUN (up).

Hi:
Have you disconnect the gun's power plug? If the wire and gas stop flowing by doing this action, then your problem is the gun's trigger. If the machine continues to feed gas and wire with the gun disconnected then yes, it is the pc board.
Good luck.

Miller 350p welder gives a "help 3" code.

Code help-3 Indicates that the gun trigger was pulled and held during power up. Release gun trigger and clear fault condition. Also, this display can Indicate no open circuit voltage detected when gun trigger is pulled and no arc detected within 3 seconds, this means that the trigger was held without any metal contact. The machine will shut down in order to avoit the wire to continue to run freely.

To fix:

Turn on the machine without pressing the trigger on the gun. Then increase to the max the wire speed. Then turn off the machine. Press the trigger after the machine was turn off, then without releasing the trigger, turn on the machine and release the trigger after 2 seconds. That will take care of it.

I just bought a 2nd hand honda excell psi max vr 2522 2.2 gpm max 5.5 hp gvc160. i put gas and oil and it wouldn't start?

Have a helper hold the trigger of the wand open while you try it again. If it starts that way you have a sticky unloader valve in the pump. DO NOT RELEASE the trigger for more than 10 seconds if the engine continues to strain when released! If the engine doesnt run freely when you let go of the trigger, pull it again and shut down the unit!
Add some power steering fluid to your supply hose (about 3 or 4 ounces at a time) and restart the unit with the trigger pulled. Allow the oil to flow through the pump for 1 - 2 minutes for each treatment. Several treatments should make the pump and valve happy again.

Hope this helps.

After first Ignition cycle igniter stays on too briefly to open gas valve gas.

Valid Most likely the problem with your dryer is the coils for the gas valve. Remove the access door (on the bottom right side on the front panel) and you can see the gas valve with three coils on top of it. They are coming as a kit with complete instruction. The part number for this kit is AP2669614.You can buy it here http://click.linksynergy.com/fs-bin/click?id=SrmyP8LkIos&offerid=92089.542517043&type=10&subid=
