Verticle line down the middle of lcd monitor.

i have a lg 42" hd tv.. same problem.. only the line appears exactly 1 hour after the set is under power. on a light background the line is "light green" ,on a dark background the line appears "red" . it will then stay on for the remainder of the power on sequence. i have a lg 42" hd tv.. same problem.. only the line appears exactly 1 hour after the set is under power. on a light background the line is "light green" ,on a dark background the line appears "red" . it will then stay on for the remainder of the power on sequence.

I have a brand new toshiba p35-S611 with the same problem, since about 2 months I had a white thick line (3") vertical on the half right side on the screen , it remains till the asll icons desktop appears , then it vanished gradually,

and now since 3 weeks another line appears on the left side but it remains more than the first one.

I connect my laptop with another pc display , it works perfectly with no line, it is obviously something wrong inside the laptop screen or system .

I had my first vertical line about a year ago then the second about 3 inches to the right two to three months later, about 2 cm thickness. The third appeared today, a thin blue line. I connected an additional monitor which is fine so I suspect I will need to replace the original screen. I have read online comments about the cooling system problems and wondered if this had anything to do with it.
