Maytag washer I have a Maytag washer, ,model # MAV5758EWW. I have a problem with the automatic temperature control. Here is the problem. If I select cold/cold, I get hot water for wash and rinse. If I select ATC cold/cold, I get hot water for wash and rinse, If I select ATC warm/cold, I get hot water for wash and rinse, If I select ATC Hot cold, I get cold water first, then hot water for the rinse. Any ideas as to what could be the problem.

It sounds like you have the hot and cold water lines to the washer reversed.  Try turning off the tap for the hot water then setting the washer to just cold wash and then  hot washif you get nothing on the cold and cold water when set to hot they are probably reversed.  Typically if the auto-temp control is broken you will only get hot or cold coming out on any setting.

I have a Maytag MAV7700 washer. It can fill with hot or cold water but when warm is selected it doesn't appropriately mix them to get a warm temperature even with the automatic temperature co

Hi etjacobsen.
As 'warm' is a mixture of 'hot' and 'cold' water a simple remedy to your problem might be to reduce the flow in the tap supplying the machine.
Good luck.

What is the acuwash sensor

Washer temperature sensors and water level settings
The temperature of your washer's water varies with your laundry care needs. Standard washer models typically feature three temperature settings: Hot/Cold, Warm/Cold, and Cold/Cold—and higher-end models often offer as many as six or seven temperature settings. Temperature plays a key role in the effectiveness of your detergent—pairing the right detergent with the right setting for your fabrics and soil is important, as this will help reduce damage, prevent detergent residue, and provide the best wash across fabric types. For the best fabric care, look for washing machines with automatic temperature control (ATC). A sensor will control water temperature and ensure cold washes are above 60 degrees (F) to dissolve detergents, and warm washes do not exceed 93 degrees (F) to help prevent shrinking and bleeding.

The amount of water you use for each load also affects washer performance. Doing laundry is a bit like a science project. You need to make sure you are using the right volume of water, with the proper amount of detergent based on the dirt level of the laundry being cleaned. Too much of one component can result in a less-than-perfect outcome. Standard washing machines allow you to select water levels for different size loads, but some models offer more water-level options. Washers with automatic water levels use sensors to determine load size and adjust water level for best cleaning and rinsing performance. You will generally find these options in higher-priced top-loading washers. A benefit of front-loading washing machines is that most come with this automatic water-leveling feature.

Whirlpool® AccuWash™ temperature control sensor provides a temperature-controlled wash.

Washer only has cold water. Hot water is good to machine but only cold water enters machine on warm cycle, no water ar all on hot cycle.

Hello there
The Water System temperature sensor is normally what is wrong with these units with this condition that you are experiencing
The water system consists of the hot and cold water inlet valves, a water temperature sensor, a water
flowmeter and control and the dispenser distribution system along with a traditional pressure switch.
Water Inlet Valves -
The hot and cold water inlet valves are located at the back of the washer. These valves receive a control
signal from the Central Control Unit to manage the temperature of incoming water. The temperatures
are determined by the specific wash cycle selected and a temperature sensor located in the wash tub.
To improve cleaning of heavily soiled clothing and to provide a sanitizing feature, the water temperature
can be increased through the use of a heating element located in the bottom of the tub

Automatic temperature control

The cold water valve may be defective - the solenoid (coil) burnt open. Coil may be replaced

The water will not come out cold, it is warm or hot. This washer has an automatic temperature control button.

just a possibility but have you the hot and cold hoses the wrong way round assuming it is a two fill hose machine. way to check is to select rinse and put you hand in the water coming into the drawer. if it is warm, then hoses are wrong way round
