The LD-620 appears to be a Ricoh Aficio MP-C2051 or C2551.
You should be able to find a parts list on the net. Whichever one looks the same as your lanier (who don't make anything) will be the one.

Are you looking for how to clean the TD sensor???? I'm not sure what a ID sensor is??? The TD sensor is above the transfer belt unit. You will have to remove the 4 drums & transfer unit and clean the inside area of the copier. Good Luck

Did this happen after the machine was serviced? this is typically when it would occur...."LD pitch error" Perform LD pitch adjustment with SP109-3, and SP109-4 (400dpi & 600dpi) or the ribbon cable on LD unit is blocking proper movement of the unit.
It's most likely your Laser diode (LD unit). You're going to require a tech...see the posts the following link for the same problem. It's for a Ricoh model, but your machine actually is a Ricoh Machine (Ricoh owns Lanier), and is virtually identical to this one -just a generation older.
