I've recently upgraded to Windows 7 on my IXTREME/GOLD S 1919 PC but cannot find the sound drivers to download. Please advise

I suspect that as this is a very old desktop unit you will not find them unless the audio chip manufacturer supports windows 7 32/64 bit?
If you know what audio chip is being used then try the website to see if there are compatible win 7 drivers.

No sound on dell E310 with windows xp

First, check the sound icon on the bottom right corner of the screen and find the sound icon. Double-click it. Is the computer muted? If not...

Did you format your Dell computer recently? If so, do you have the manufacturer's discs that came with the computer? If you did format it, all information on your computer (including the drivers that enable sound) will be erased and you'd have to find/install the driver's again.

No audio output device installed

If the speakers came with your computer check the Support link at the computer manufacturers website. If you bought them separately then you'll need to check the speaker manufacturers website to see if they have a Vista driver available. Hope this helps.

My computer has no audio sound.

falcon_mark2,

I was going to ask you to clarify the motherboard model, but I found the link for you to download the driver which support most of the SIS audio product. Enjoy.

Guitar amplifier

Hi thecross

I have fixed so many of these amps over the years... Marshall Valvestate series of amps are notorious for dry solder joints developing on the main PCB. If you have the skills(or an old mate that does)Remove the PCB from the chassis and resolder any suspect dry joints and you will fix the problem. Check particularly about any components there the PB has changed colour. This is an indication of heat in that area, and heating and cooling is a major cause dry joints.
I am more than happy to answer any other questions you may have about it, just give me a hoy :) If you are still unsure, or have problems, then before you give a rating for this advice, please get back to me and we can try some more things.
Thanks for using FixYa, If you consider the advice I have given you as sound, a FixYa rating is a great reward for my efforts to help you. Cheers.
