I have a new apex tv LE3212D i bought in March the remote stopped working I bought a rca remote RCR450 none of the codes listed for apex work i have cox cab le

RCR450 have no setup codes to Apex TV. There is no RCA remote control models have set up codes for Apex brand.

push minue directly on tv and seif that works. try to see if you can get it out of that mode. you might need the origanal remote. try search on the remote control may work

Peel Remote choose Emerson "Did TV Turn On?" Select no twice then yes. U will see Aspect button

Sorry u can't fix this zoomming mode problems without the tv original remote.This tv zoomming mode function it is have it only on the tv original remote function only no where else.Try website like Remotes.com to buy the tv original remote to use.

This is probably a TV setting. You may have a SCREEN button on the remote.

Apex tv has red key in the left hand corner of the screen and the only button i can use is the on off button on the tv ...but i do have the remote how do i turn this lock off?

press the function key and the mute key at the same time :)

Wide screen mode won't go back to "normal".

Was exactly what you said. The cable box settings were in wide mode. Couldn't figure it out at all. Funny thing was too.. on my cable box remote, the button under the #9 button is the # button.. it doesn't say zoom at all.. but it totally controls the zoom.

So thanks for that.. AND thanks for saying "under the #9 on the cable remote" instead of just saying .. the zoom button.

My tv/jcv (i have no clue of type) keeps zooming

Take your remote control, press volume to 0
Press the mute button on your remote, at the same time, press the menu button on your TV for 3 seconds.

A menu will apear, press the right arrow on your remote to go to menu 002 to fix your problem.

I fixed the problem by taking the batteries out of the remote and unplugging the tv for 30 minutes. At the end of 30 minutes I replaced the batteries then pushed each button on the remote in order. I then plugged the tv back in and everything worked again.
Weird.

Loss of Picture on Right and left side

Take your remote control, press volume to 0
Press the mute button on your remote, at the same time, press the menu button on your TV for 3 seconds.

A menu will apear, press the right arrow on your remote to go to menu 002 to fix your problem.

Make a factory reset to this set. I assumes that you have its remote control wih you now, and posts this solution. If you did forget the parential pass code, just enter '6688' when the set asks for passcode. The previous set passcode will clear out, you ahve to set a new passocde in place. After resettign the pascode, just make a factory reset to the set, by entering into it menu option.
Without remote control, you can't do anything with this set. If you lost its remote control, you can buy it directly from Apex Digital. The price ofr the remote control in US or Canda is $35. In this case, please contact

Before doing anythin, just try to do a hard reset to your set. Some times, it may halp you. To do a hard reset, just unplug the TV fro AC power socket, and wait for at least 5 minutes, and the replug it. OK.
