Need a new seat pad and straps!!

Hi guys! i am the youngest of 25 cousins and thus am "forced" to use many hand me downs. apparently, it would be ungrateful to go out and buy brand new things while the family baby stuff is still "good".

What i have is a chicco highchair that needs a new girlish touch to it. the seats gray and faded and a strap is missing.

any suggestions? cn't find a store that sells parts. or maybe since highchairs are not tha expensive, people usually never change anything.. just buy everything new.

please help. want a pretty seat for my little pincess.:-(

The buckle on our straps broke, and need replacement. Anyone find place to order replacement parts?

i also have a hand-me-down chicco high chair (it's the chicco mamma model, which i think has been replaced by the chicco polly). it's missing the straps to go around the child's waist and am trying to find replacements.

I am also looking for replacement straps and the company just told me they don't have any and can no longer get them. I asked about the newer model and they told me the straps were not interchangable because of the difference in seat size.

got a chicco polly highchair and need replacement shoulder straps as one of clips has broke any idea where i can get one thanks

I need a replacement strap/buckle set for my Chicco Polly Highchair. The plastic inserting piece completely busted off and makes that sides strap unusable and unsafe. This is a new chair (9 months old) and should not be breaking like this!

You can buy replacement high chair straps at HighChairBelts.com One was $9 shipped but I bought the 3 for $17 with FREE shipping! I sewed the ends of one set together and use it along with my daughter's grocery cart cover. Most of the straps on the carts are filthy or missing pieces or broken.

I also wanted new straps for a chicco mamma hand me down high chair. I was given it with a normal reins type straps which can be attached easily (if you take the seat pad out there are screws which can be placed through the strap to attach firmly to the seat.)

However my boy spends his whole time slidding his bum forward and ends up hanging out of the seat. So I phoned chicco who put me on to another company who does old straps.
They sold me a 5 point harness for an different high chair
(the polly) which should work. However I'm having difficulty working out how to fit the over the shoulder staps securely... Can anyone tell me how they attach?

If you want the details of the company it is: stork talk (midlands) ltd - tel 0115 930 6700

Footmuff instructions

Hi Beth - First open the footmuff, and set the carseat down on the floor in front of you so you're facing it. Take the harness pads and ****** pad off the harness straps and place the footmuff into the carseat. Pull the harness straps through the holes in the footmuff and press the back of the footmuff into the curve of the carseat. Replace the harness pads. You're ready to go! When you use the carseat, simply put baby in and do up the harness as usual, then do up the footmuff for cosy, safe travelling.

How do you move the straps for a bigger child

Hi
Undo the popper on the shoulder harness pad. Slide the pad down the length of the shoulder harness strap.
Unhook the metal D ring.
Feed the short length, low down anchor point back in behind the seat fabric. Bring the longer length, higher up anchor point out at the desired height.
Re-attach the D ring. Adjust the harness straps accordingly.
Slide harness pad back up shoulder harness and re-attach popper.

Need to remove the cover from a britax eclipse si..how

Press and hold down the harness release button. With your other hand below the chest pads, pull the shoulder straps forward as far as possible. With the Eclipse Si fully reclined, open the seat-belt guard at the back of the shell. Pull the yoke out from behind the seat and unhook both shoulder straps. Pull the cover from the top of the seat so that you can see the slots in the seat shell. Pull each shoulder strap and chest pad strap forward and towards the centre of the shell, easing the metal tab and straps through the slot. Then thread them through to the front of the cover. Unfasten the buckle and remove the comfort pad. Gently pull the cover off the seat, easing the shoulder straps, chest pads, harness buckle and adjuster strap through the slots in the cover.

How do I lift the back seat up on my 2000 outback?

Hello,

This is the solution you desire:
1.If you look closely between the seats, there is a small loop strap made of material similar to the seat belts.
2.Pulling it releases the latch that holds the seat down. It is possible to close the seat down onto the strap, thus hiding it and leaving no apparent way to get the seat up.
You will need to grope around and find it. It may help to use a tool like some sort of hook. It is in the center of the rear edge of the seat, but it may have been folded off to either side.

Have a nice day and thank you for using fixya.

Nania Nuevo 3-in 1

hi,
i just had the same problem but there seems nothing out there at all, so i had to try myself and just succeeded there.

so a little step by step guide, i hope its clear enough.

1. i found taking the whole thing apart to be the easiest way. so take it apart, you should have two long straps, two metal buckles, and two plastics things you will need at the end.

2. hang the strap with the shoulder pads around your neck, the way it would lie if around your child.

3. note two whole, one on either side of the seat, inside, near where your childs bum would be. imagine the other strap, the long one coming from there(imagine we are starting form the right here), then it goes through the right buckle.

4. next it goes through the right shoulder pad

5. now in real life it would go thorugh the back of the seat, but its easier to leave this last, in case you pull it through lopsided somewhere, so you can fix it, anyhow....

6. the long strap now goes around your neck and through the other , the left, shoulder pad,

7, then it goes through the left hand buckle

8. lastly, it WOULD go through the hole on the inside left of the seat.

before you do that thought, close the buckle and see if everything is straight

9. now pick one end of your work and pull it through one of the holes in the back of the seat, once its thorugh one hole it should go through a thinner grey strap at the back, this is for tightening the whole thing at the fornt once your child sits in the seat, once thats done pull it back out front through the other hole.

10. lastly, pull the long ends of the straps through the two inside holes either side of the seat, they should come out at the bottom, the two plastic green things are then attached to the ends. there is a right and a wrong way here, one way you can pull them in tight, the other you cant

i hope this works for you and i hope i made sense....
