My screen is all blue, no image and voice. a lock on the upper left corner

It sounds that your TV is locked by someway. Just unlock it. Proceed the following.
Many Jensen TVs have a parental lock that can be set to stop children from watching certain television shows or channels. In order to activate or deactivate the controls, you have to know the four-digit code or parental lock passcode. If you forget the passcode or if the lock gets set accidentally, you can still unlock the TV.

• Turn on the TV using the remote control. In most cases, you will need the original Jensen remote to unlock the TV if you aren't sure of the unlock code. You can purchase an original replacement online if necessary.

• Look at the screen. If you see a red key on the bottom of the screen, press "Function" and "Mute" on the remote at the same time. This will unlock the channel. Do this if you want to bypass the lock to watch a certain show or channel while leaving the TV locked. All other channels will remain locked and the TV will lock again when it is turned off.

• Unlock all of the channels on the TV by entering 0711 or 3308. These are the Jensen factory reset codes that will reset the TV to the original factory settings. By doing this, you will loose any information that you have stored in the TV, such as channel labels and schedules. You will have to program the TV again by going through the entire initial set up.

•Call the technical support service number in your owner's manual if neither of those codes work. A technician can help you troubleshoot the television as the problem may not be the parental lock feature. Have the model number and serial number of the TV available when you call.
• Take your television to a TV repair shop if neither of the codes work and the TV locked by itself while it was turned on. In this case, the TV may need to be rewired.

Vizio Factory Menu

Vizio Tv's have an extra menu that contains factory settings which you can change or fix should you have a problem with your TV. Here's how to access the menu: 1. Hold down the CH+ (Channel Up) and the CH- (Channel Down) buttons on the TV. 2. While holding these buttons press the power button on the TV. 3. After the TV comes on, let go of the buttons, and enter the TV menu as usual. 4. You should now see a "F" in the lower right hand corner of the menu. (If not please repeat steps 1-3) 5. Hold down the menu button on your remote and the Factory Settings menu should appear. From this point you can tweak whatever settings you wish. *CAUTION* - Make sure that before you do anything you write down the settings before you change them. I have seen it mentioned that certain settings never be adjusted. Please search the internet regarding your problem before you do anything. A good resource is www.avsforum.com

TV Flashing from Channel to Channel Non-Stop. Problem with the RCA F32689 32" TV My TV started jumping from channel to channel non-stop. There's no picture or sound - only channel numbers changing...

If still under guarantee take it back.
If not this sounds like a workshop job. If more than five years old (the TV, not you!) and you can afford it, junk this set and get a new one.

I am trying to get channels above 13. I do not

Try bringing up the menu by holding both volume buttons down at the same time (or use menu button on remote if you have it). Go into CH SET using the channel and volume buttons on the front of set (or use the SET + and - and the ENTER buttons on remote). Go to the TV CATV line and move the arrow to CATV. Let menu time out. This will put tv into cable mode. Hope this helps.

Won't receive channels above 18, cable not at fault

Your "tuner" in the menu is set on "off air" or "antenna. It should be set on "cable" or "dish". See if you can go into your menu with the buttons on the set and change your tuner setting. Keever

Reception of vhf/uhf channels

You did not mention which set you have, so look for a small switch (usually on the back of the set) or go into the menu and set the TV to the "broadcast" or "tv" mode. If the set is in the "cable" mode, you will not get any UHF channels above 13.
