A metal bad with a spring on each end is used to couner balance the door. Take off the curved plastic moulding at the front bottom 2 screws at front and 2 underneath.
Then remove as many screws as you can that secures the left hand casing you just need to get to left hand side near the bottom.
Once there you can check if both springs are secure it is probable that one of these has become dislodged you can get some pliers and bend the hooks better so that it will not happen again.

KitchenAid KUDI10FL dishwasher- The door spring system broke and I repaired it, but now all of the sudden the dishwasher will not start. The door may have been dropped a couple of time before the spring...

Hi- It is possible that the door latch is not completely engaging. If the door dropped the hinges may have bent a little thus preventing a good contact with door switch. Try pressing and holding the door shut, hard, and pressing start. If that works then replace the latch assembly. It is also possible the membrane switch got rattled with the door falling, or a wire is grounding out somewhere. Hopefully it is just the latch. Hope this helps, good luck.

Door spring seems to have broken

Yep! What happens is a "T" shaped metal piece that is "screwed" into the spring and serves as an adjustment of tension tears or bends and falls out of the spring(s). Usually one at a time.

If you are clever you can rebend and strengthen this piece and adjust the tension to normal.

Access this by removing the panel below the door where the toe kick is.

The cause of the problem will be obvious and one side will probably still be intact so you can see how they are supposed to be.

Door drops hard and i have an error code 7 -

The door slamming open is a broken spring/springs. They are very easy to replace - remove the screws holding the dishwasher in... pull out slightly and replace with good ones on the sides.

Can you clear the error code by shutting off power to it?

I want to fit a wooden door to a intagrated dishwasher stoves

If your dishwashermag-glass_10x10.gif door is not closing properly or has developed a leak, it may be time to replace the entire door assembly. Some other signs of a defective door include sagging, difficulty pulling the door back up into a closed position and a door that feels heavier as it drops open. Replacing a dishwasher door is not that hard, but includes several springs and hinges that must be aligned correctly or the door will not fit correctly in the opening.
  1. tep 1 Unplug the dishwasher and shut off the water before attempting to remove any parts. If you cannot reach the electrical outlet, you can turn off the breaker switch that controls the electricity for the kitchen. Remove the drain hose that runs from the dishwasher unit to the sink drain.
  2. Step 2 Pull the dishwasher out from the cabinet until you have clear access to the side of the unit. Ask a friend for help with this part if the unit is too heavy for you to slide out without straining your back.
  3. Step 3 Check your dishwasher's owner's manual to find out exactly how the outer door panels are removed. Some models have a two-panel door where the control panel must be removed before the lower panel will come off. Otherwise, the door panel should be one solid piece or a two-piece assembly that allows the lower section to be removed separately to access the springs and hinges.
  4. Step 4 Remove the springs at the bottom of the door. Depending on the type of dishwasher you have, there may be a tension adjustment dial or simply a series of holes at different distances from the edge of the unit. If you have a tension controller, adjust it to a loose setting to make it easier to remove the door springs. Unhook the door springs from the hinge plate. Some dishwashersmag-glass_10x10.gif may have a cable and pulley system attached to the door springs. Check your owner's manual for removal instructions if this is the case with your model.
  5. Step 5 Use pliers to gently pull back on the door hinge plate's tab until the slot opens for the hinge pin to come out. Take out the screws holding the door hinge plate onto the front of the door panel. Hold onto the door assembly while gradually opening the door. Once the door drops down, you should be able to remove it by sliding the door off the hinge pinAlways wear safety glasses when working with the springs and hinges involved with a dishwasher door assembly. These items can fly off at high speed and cause serious injury to the eye.

Fitting the belt to the hoover 5050ed

nope,, but
all dryers are generically the same
remove the front panel and door
pull the drum
loop the belt around the drum, at apporximately the wear marks of the old belt
reinsert the drum
loop the belt around the motor pulley
pull the tensioner pulley hard against the spring to the end of its travel
loop the belt around the tensioner pulley
allow the tensioner to move back under spring pressure to tension the belt
rotate the drum by hand to make sure the belt is aligned and not coing to jump off the pulleys
reinstall front panel & door
26740a0.jpg the tensioner may be on the bottom belt run pusshing up, or the top run pulling down
breaking belts sometimes pull the tensioner out of its mounts, there is only one place that the tensioner will reinstall.

Its a standard whirpool dryer, rebadged as hoover, so the local parts guy has the belts rollers felts and glides as necessary, they are common to all the dryers whirlpool makes.
