You need to replace the Lamp. There shouldn't be a picture showing if the lamp exploded, however. You can do a simple check by pulling the lamp out and inspecting it.
If I'm not mistake is there two lights red and green? Can you give me some detail on which light is blinking, and how fast (1/3, 1/2, 1 seconds apart)? I have a feeling it the green light and 1 second apart. LPS mode (low power shutdown) mode. Problem with USART signaling power not being able to power up ballast. Truth is it could be a lot of things but, I'd start looking around there first.
Thanks Denis39 but the problem I have is not the light ,but the light engine. they are $456.00 on parts. com, however they are on back order(wonder why?) Can't seem to locate one any cheaper. Its another$189.00 dollars to have it installed. Anyone know where I can get one cheaper let me know Thanks
If your bulb light came on, Replace it before the bulb goes out. if not It could damage the bulb housing when the bulb pops. I have the same problem and dont have a solution for the spot.
you should make sure that the onscreen menus are effected by the problem if they look OK and just the video bihind them is distorted the problem is in the digital video or what Toshiba calls the seine module. Probably not though it sounds like an engine. PTS electronics rebuilds some engines however most Toshiba engines are relatively reasonable.
