Moreover, acording to newly hoilsted FixYa site, I'm not allowed to send any PDF files to customers. If customer want to get it, he have to purchase one amoung my advertised service on FixYa.
So if you purchase one amoung Samsung service advertised on Fixya, I can send you all the documents by the link provides by Fixya between us. If you are interested, do the rest. OK.

When you say "So if you purchase one amoung Samsung service advertised on Fixya", what do you mean? Purchase "one" what?
All I want is instructions to get the case off.

Just go to Google or yahoo. Just type in "gopkumar gopalan fixya" OR "gopakumarg43 Fixya" at its search box. You cansee my service advertisements there, poste by Fixya at about 5 months ago. Just click on 'gopakumar gopalan profiles fixya. After you get my service lists, just ckick next at the botton, will reveal more and more services. Clcik on any Samsung TV advt: and post your problem there. When you get in and completes all the proceedings there, Fixya will provide a link between us, by which we can communicate each other. I can send the PDF documents to by Email at the Email address of yours. You must enter it at window provided to you. I'll get alert about your problem post here, and can follow it. Just buy any Samsung TV service, and just enter your problem there. I can follow it, whether it is for TV, Audio Devices, Monitor or any as you wants to get assistance from me with Samsung Brand. Is it possible to remove the speaker panel for Samsung HP-R5072?

It is possible to remove the speaker panel for a Samsung HP-R5072 television, but it will depend on the specific model and design of the television. Some Samsung televisions have removable speakers, while others have speakers that are built into the TV.
If your Samsung HP-R5072 television has removable speakers, you should be able to remove the speaker panel by following these steps:
  1. Locate the speaker panel: The speaker panel is typically located at the bottom or the back of the television. It may be secured with screws or clips.
  2. Remove the screws or clips: Use a screwdriver or other tool to remove the screws or clips that are holding the speaker panel in place.
  3. Carefully remove the panel: Once the screws or clips have been removed, you should be able to carefully lift the speaker panel away from the television.

How to remove the case sensor on samsung dishwasher dmt400

Unplug dishwasher. Remove panel on left-hand side (by removing 2 screws). Remove the water inlet valve baffle on the inside of the dishwasher by turning it counter-clockwise (use long-nose pliers). Tilt case-brake assembly out from the top. Unplug electrical connectors. Use pliers to loosen clamps and slide down the rubber hoses. Remove hoses, then remove case-break assembly.

How many small screws should i take out to remove the back control module ?

I take it your "Back Control Module" is the different inputs of external devices. In that case, you have to remove the whole Back Cover to get to the Main Board and there you will see what screws holds down this Board and frame. You need to do this to "REPLACE" this whole board which comes with all the external connections added to the board. This board can only be repaired by the Factory in which case, it gets replaced. The number of screws to remove this particular board is PLENTY and takes a bit of investigation if you do not know the assembly.
To get to the Side connections, AV2, you still have to remove the Back cover and then remove 2 screws to remove this small board.
In the case of the Built in Menu Panel, depending on the make, minimum 4 screws and that is after you have removed the whole Back Cover.
Hope this answers your Query. It stil stays many screws and take note what screw comes from where as they are of different sizes.

About 2 months ago I bought a samsung s2 portable 1Tb. It has worked fine until yesterday. It slipped down from where it was laying (while plugged in and running) and was hanging the 20 cm usb-cabel. Now I...

Hanging by the 20cm USB cable?

The cable could be stretched, and wires broken inside.
The cable to small circuit board, inside the case, could have broken solder joints.
The circuit board inside the Samsung's case could be broken.

Inside that small outer case of the Samsung portable is a laptop size Harddrive.
The harddrive measures 2.5 inches across in width.

(6.4cm. In comparison a desktop size harddrive is 3.5 inches across in width, or 8.9cm)

The harddrive is a SATA unit also.

This is a general example of a 2.5 SATA harddrive,

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822148591

Inside the outer case (External Enclosure) is also a small circuit board (PCB)
The harddrive plugs into the small circuit board, and the circuit board has a USB cable attached to it.

(Or there is a small cable from circuit board to harddrive. Then a USB cable to the circuit board)

I would suggest removing the 2.5 SATA harddrive, and install it into an economical external enclosure.

Example of a 2.5 SATA External Enclosure,

http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=3195233&CatId=2783

Basic guidance in removing the Harddrive from a Samsung S2 Portable,

1) It looks as though the outside front is a thick cover like a label. It may be that you peel back the corners, and there will be a screw in each corner.

(For example; Where it states Samsung. Go to the right corner. Does this cover-like material peel back? Is there a screw underneath? Remove it.
Go to the opposite corner. Now above to the left and right corners)

The unit looks to come apart in two halves.

Might just be held together by sticky tape.

Here are some videos performing opening the external enclosure, (Case) of other external portable harddrives,

There are other related videos. In general most are not very professional, but get the job done.

Open the external case, by removing some screws, and sliding the cover away from the insides.
Connect your disk-drive to the "power" and "data" connections, and secure the disk-drive with the mounting screws. Close the case.

Is it possible to repair Samsung G3 Station if the USB connector inside the box has been broken?

The adapter board is a common fault, I have had about 20 of these cases in the last year, and It has made me hate external hard drives. My advice, take the hard drive out, its easy enough, remove the top two rubber feet, take out the screws, pry the top open, gently lift out and take the screw out of the adapter board. Now get an external reader. I've just got a cheapo for $50 and it works great for me (http://www.chinavasion.com/product_info.php/pName/premium-dual-sata-hard-drive-docking-station/) but if you want to pay more for something more reliable, I can't blame you. Keep the area reasonably dust free and hard drives you're not using in zip lock bags and you shall have much less drama, trust me.

How to take the outer casing off a maxtor one touch external hard drive

  • Feel along the back and bottom side of your Maxtor external hard drive. Depending on the specific model of hard drive you have the unit may have screws or plastic latches inside the case. Pull of the warranty sticker and check to see if the screws are located underneath it if you don't see any screws anywhere else. Pull out the rubber stoppers at the bottom of the external hard drive case and check if the screws are located underneath. Remove the screws if your model of Maxtor external hard drive has them. Insert a thin and flat object such as a flat head screwdriver between the seams of the two sides of the case if there are no visible screws. Run the flat object around the length of the external hard drive case until it hits a plastic latch. Wiggle the object up and down until the latch disengages. Continue sliding the screwdriver along the sides until all the latches are disengaged. Pull the two sides of the Maxtor external hard drive case apart to reveal the actual hard drive enclosure inside. Remove the screws holding the hard drive into its metal cage. Pull the existing hard drive unit out the metal cage and replace it with the new hard drive. Reassemble the unit and plug it back into your computer.

If windows vista has failed on a samsung laptop is it still possible to retrieve files from the hard drive, if so how is this done?

Yes of course.
However the procedure is somewhat advanced and is better be done by an expert professional.
Also please note that if your laptop is under quarantee then trying the following steps can void your warranty.

However, you can try the following:
First of all you will need an external hard drive casing.
Turn your laptop upside down and unplug it from the power and remove the battery.
Then unscrew the screws where the harddrive is.
See this link for an image of where the harddrive might be and look like
(HARDDRIVE)
After you unscrew the small screws remove the plastic cover and you will see the hard disk. Genthly remove it and place it in the external hard disk casing for 2.5" drives.
Then you can plug in the casing via usb cable in another computer and transfer your data.

I have a 320GB external usb and it is coming on but not being recignized by the computers. Blue light comes on and goes off, it maks noise as if it is running. BUT my computers detect new hardware but says...

The problem is with the controller board inside the SimpleTech drive. The solution is to remove the 2.5" form factor SATA drive from the case and install it into a new case. I have had 2 SimpleTech drives (both Pininfarina style) fail on me and in both cases it was the controller board and NOT the hard drive inside.

To remove the drive you have to remove the label on the bottom that says "Do not remove or you will void your warranty. Under that label you will see two phillips head screws. Remove them and the case can then be pulled apart. The controller board is screwed onto the bottom of the hard drive. Remove the screws and slide the board carefully off of the SATA connection and power ports and now you have a bare drive.

Go and by a 2.5" SATA form factor hard drive external case from some PC store or from eBay. I got mine on eBay for $10.00 including shipping. Install the drive in the new case plug it in and away you go. Make sure that you buy one that DOES NOT NEED AN EXTERNAL POWER SUPPLY.

It is almost NEVER the hard drive itself that fails it is almost always the controller board. Make sure that you open the case and check that your hard drive is really a SATA drive before ordering the case. If it happens to be PATA (IDE) then make sure you order an external case for that type of drive. They are NOT the same and you HAVE to get the external case that mates with your hard drive.

Good Luck,

John

Want to open my maxtor one touch, any idea of the best way, and what is that small openning at the back

It's a pain but you can do it if you are careful. Remove 2 screws on back panel, then gently remove back panel. Now work on side/front panel (one piece) GENTLY. They have little plastic clips that will pop out if you are careful. The you can remove 2 more screws on side that hold metal halves together. Top comes of clamshell style. Good luck !
