I have lost my disks fore Kodak easyshare Ai0 printer and have a new computer i would like it to work it with is there a way to get the software?

On the page which opens, click the "Download" button to start the download process.

Kindly refer the detailed installation instructions given on the download page to install the printer.

For your reference, here are the installation instructions again:

Installation Instructions

  1. Verify that your computer meets the system requirements.
    NOTE: WINDOWS XP 64-bit Operating System is not supported.
  2. Disconnect your all-in-one printer from your computer.
  3. Verify that you logged on to the computer using the administrator account.
  4. Close all programs.
  5. Download the software onto your computer.
  6. Double-click the *.exe file, then follow the on-screen instructions.
  7. When the installation is complete, connect your all-in-one printer to your computer.
  8. Select Start > Programs > Kodak > Kodak AiO Home Center.

Going to the Kodak website and download the updated drivers and software for your operating system would be your best bet. Another option would be to connect, at least temporarily, your old hard drive to the new computer and get the drivers off of it but this will not work if you had XP on the old machine and have Win Vista or Win 7 on the new machine.

Can't get picture to scan

try doing this procedure to fix the issue.....


To perform a clean installation of the KODAK AiO Home Center software, follow the instructions below:

1. Disconnect all USB devices from the computer, including the Kodak EasyShare all-in-one printer.

2. Uninstall the KODAK All-in-One Printer Software:
    a. In the Control Panel, select Add or Remove Programs (WINDOWS XP Operating Systems) or Program and Features (WINDOWS VISTA Operating Systems).
    b. Select one of the following software programs from the list of currently installed programs, depending on which one appears in your list:
      • Kodak EasyShare software
      • KODAK All-in-One Printer Software
      • Kodak EasyShare 5000 series all-in-one software
    c. Click Change or Remove (WINDOWS XP OS) or Uninstall (WINDOWS VISTA OS).
    d. When the Install Wizard appears, click Next.
    e. Depending on the issue(s) you are experiencing, do the following:
      • If you are experiencing errors with KODAK EASYSHARE Software, such as a tri-code, in addition to errors with KODAK All-in-One Printer Home Center Software, select Remove, click Next, and follow the on-screen instructions for removing the software.
      • If you are not experiencing errors with KODAK EASYSHARE Software, select Modify to uninstall only KODAK All-in-One Printer Home Center Software, then click Next.
    f. In the Custom Setup window, select Remove from the drop-down menu for the Kodak All-in-One Printer, and click Next.
    g. In the Ready to remove the program window, click Next.
    h. In the Uninstall Complete window, click Continue.
    i. Restart the computer.
IMPORTANT:
    • If you selected Modify and only uninstalled the KODAK All-in-One Printer Software and did not uninstall the KODAK EASYSHARE Software, continue to Step 4.
    • If you selected Remove and uninstalled both the KODAK All-in-One Printer Software and KODAK EASYSHARE Software, continue with Step 3.

3. Run the Clear Utility to delete any previously installed KODAK All-in-One Printer Software components:
    1. Got to www.kodak.com/go/clear to download the Clear Utility for KODAK EASYSHARE Software.
    2. Select your operating system from the drop-down list and click the Download button to save the file to your desktop.
      Note: If the status indicator on the Clear Utility stops, check the taskbar on your computer for an active security program. If a security program appears in the taskbar, it may be prohibiting the Clear Utility from running. You must allow the Clear Utility to run on your computer before you can continue.

4. Delete the files and folders that can interfere with the installation.
    For WINDOWS XP OS, delete:
      • Printer folder in C:\Program Files\Kodak
      • Both the Eastman Kodak Company and KDS_Kodak folders in C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data
      • Kodak 5000 Series AiO folder in C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Kodak
      • Printer folder in C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Kodak\EasyShareSetup

    For WINDOWS VISTA OS, delete:
      • Printer folder in C:\Program Files\Kodak
      • Eastman Kodak Company folder in C:\ProgramData
      • Eastman Kodak Company folder(s) in C:\Users\your name\AppData\Local
5. Run Disk Cleanup:
    1. Open My Computer.
    2. Right-click Local Disk (C:) and select Properties.
    3. Click the Disk Cleanup button.
    4. When the Disk Cleanup for (C:) window appears, select the Temporary Internet Files, Recycle Bin, and Temporary Files check boxes.
    5. Click OK , then click Yes to delete all files and begin the Disk Cleanup.
    6. When the Disk Cleanup is finished, click OK in the Local Disk (C:) Properties window.

6. Shut down all background applications.
    1. Select Start > Run.
    2. Type msconfig in the Open field, and click OK.
    3. Select the Startup tab.
      IMPORTANT: If not all the applications in the Startup Items list are selected, write down which applications are selected so you know which ones to turn on again later.
    4. Click Disable All , then click OK .
    5. When prompted, restart the computer.

7. After the computer restarts, install the latest version of the KODAK All-in-One Printer Software as a free download from the Kodak Web site at www.kodak.com/go/downloads.
    • If the customer has the latest version of the KODAK All-in-One Printer Software on CD, install the software from the CD.

8. Before restarting the computer again, turn on the background applications.
    1. Select Start > Run.
    2. Type msconfig in the Open field and click OK.
    3. Select the Startup tab.
    4. Under Startup Items:
      - If only some items were originally selected, select the check box in front of the items that you noted in Step 5-c.
      - If all background items were originally selected, click Enable All, and click OK.

9. Restart the computer.

Install disk for kodak 5300 all in one printer

if you dont have the disk, you can call to this kodak technical support hotline 1-800-421-6699
and you can tell them that you lost you CD installer
but if you want to install the drivers and software eventhough you dont have the CD installer, you can go to the kodak website to download the drivers installer www.kodak.com/go/drivers

Software Installation problem gets stuck - all in one Kodak ESP3 printer

I have a 6 year old Dell with XP, plenty of hard drive and memory. I could not scan using the software, I went on the Kodak website and followed the Step-by-Step Solutions and Repair which nothing worked, including the Kodak Clear Utility they reccomend for ridding your system of the software, it just locked up at the end.
So, I spent several hours on the phone with Technicians trying to uninstall and reinstall the ESP3 software. None of their methods worked even step by step manually un-installing every file and folder...
So I wrote a nasty email to them and they sent this back, which by the way, didn't work for me either, but maybe it can for you.

According to your email, the issue is that you have not been able to install the software for the printer on your computer. We understand the importance for you to have your printer working properly.

To help resolve this issue, please follow these steps in the order they appear:

1. Disconnect all USB devices from the computer, including the Kodak EasyShare all-in-one printer.

2. Uninstall the Kodak EasyShare 5000 series all-in-one software:
a. In the Control Panel, select Add or Remove Programs (Windows XP) or Program and Features (Windows Vista).
b. Select one of the following software programs from the list of currently installed programs, depending on which one appears in your list:
Kodak EasyShare software
Kodak all-in-one printer software
Kodak EasyShare 5000 series all-in-one software
c. Click Change or Remove (Windows XP) or Uninstall (Windows Vista).
d. When the Install Wizard appears, click Next.

3. Delete the files and folders that can interfere with the installation.
For Windows XP, delete:
a. Printer folder in C:\Program Files\Kodak

c. Kodak 5000 Series AiO folder in C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Kodak

For Windows Vista, delete:
a. Printer folder in C:\Program Files\Kodak
b. Eastman Kodak Company folder in C:\ProgramData
c. Eastman Kodak Company folder(s) in C:\Users\your name\AppData\Local

4. Run Disk Cleanup.
a. Open My Computer.

6. After the computer restarts, insert the KODAK EASYSHARE 5000 Series All-in-One Software CD into the computer CD drive to begin the installation.

a. Insert the printer software CD into the CD-ROM drive.
b. In the KODAK EASYSHARE 5000 Series All-in-One Software window, click Next.
c. Select CD Installation, and click Next.
d. Select I accept the terms of the License Agreement, and click Next.
e. Select Custom, and click Next.
f. Select Not Installed for every feature, and click Next.
g. When To begin the installation process appears, click Next.
h. Select Remind me later to register, and click Next.
i. When the Kodak Statistics Collection window appears, select Yes, and click Next.
j. When prompted, connect the printer to your computer.
k. Click Next when the Next button becomes active.
l. When Congratulations, your Kodak printer has been successfully setup appears, click Finish.
m. Click Continue, and then close all windows.

7. Before restarting the computer again, turn on the background applications.
a. Select Start > Run.
b. Type msconfig in the Open field and click OK.
c. Select the Startup tab.
d. Under Startup Items:
- If only some items were originally selected, select the check box in front of the items that you noted in Step 5-c.
- If all background items were originally selected, click Enable All, and click OK.

8. Restart the computer.
