Why is the main 24 volt coil contactor chattering? I replaced the 3-pole contactor and thermostat but problem not solved.

Chech the voltage going to the contactor if it is less then 21 volts i would change the transformer. sometimes the contactor will chatter because it is not getting enough voltage.

Gas valve on Vulcan oven SG4D-1 makes a chattering noise?

if it is a buzzing noise it is usually not big deal. If it is truly a chatter, I suggest replacing as the electric coil is going bad.

Duke 59-E3XX Contactors buzzing when starting?

Contactors are getting weak and need to be replaced.............the buzzing is the magnetic coil making noise. Anytime I hear a contactor buzzing on a furnace, ac, or refrigeration rack I replace them immediately. Otherwise what happens is eventually it will get stuck closed (on position) and cause a issue later.

Model ww2460B double oven. need thermostat 71001138. can I get it anywhere?

Good luck with that!!! I had the same problem and scoured the internet for a solution. If you can find a used or rebuilt part you may be in luck. The thermostat on the left is a 6 pole one for the upper oven while the one on the right is a 4 pole for the lower oven 71001126. I doubt you can substitute the one for the other and give up the convection and self cleaning functions. Let us know if you find a solution or buy a new stove. Sears has a few 24 inch double ovens left, as the world is moving to 27 and 30 inch ovens.

Oven not heating up properly

This tutorial will show you how to check your Smeg element and how to replace your Smeg cooker element.
Here are the 3 main faults to look for in your oven or cooker that is not heating
  1. Your oven will not work until the clock/timer has been re-set after replacing an oven element or tripping the electrical supply. Consult your Smeg manual.
  2. If your Oven is not getting hot or heating up it could be a faulty element, if the fan in the oven is running and the thermostat light is on, this will lead us to believe that the element has gone faulty. With grills the thermostat light should come on there should be heat, if not then this could be the grill element or the thermostat.
  3. When you turn the oven on, the household electrical supply trips on the Rcd (this is the earth trip in the fuse board sometimes called the breaker tripping) your fan oven element has gone to earth and needs replacing.

Garland gas range

look at the bottom panel below the doors.on the left and right side youll see screws--remove them.open the doors and you should see 2 more screws.pull the panel out towards you.youll see the serial/model number on it or the frame of the oven.if the glow coil is red try to manually light the burner witha paper towel.if the burner lights, the burner may be obstructed --if not the gas valve may not be opening.you will need a voltage meter to test the coil on the gas valve.if you get the correct voltage on the valve coil which is 24 volts ac and no gas the valve is bad.if you dont have 24 volts the ignition board is bad.let me know.
