Hello,

Unfortunately there is no means of tracking the stolen GPS.
If you have a record of the serial number, you could report it to the police.
The GPS may show up at a local pawn shop and if the police have the serial number on file, they could possibly recover it for you.

My tomtom Go Live 1535TM was stolen at Vallejo Plaza, along redwood st and sonoma Boulevard

There is one thing you can do if you have the serial number of your device. You can find it on the device itself and on a sticker on the packaging of your device. If your device was registered to your TomTom account, you could try contacting TomTom support by phone and ask if they can give you the serial number when you provide them you're account data.
Once you have the serial number you go to the police station and inform them your device was stolen. If you're lucky, one day the police will find the gagsters who stole your GPS, and if they find lots of stolen products, they will probably check the police computer to check if the serial numbers are reported as stolen.

My tom tom was stolen can it be located with gps?

No, a GPS device will only receive signals from the satellites in space. A GPS will never transmit any signal to the satellites because it's a one way communication.
If you have the serial number (you can find it on the device itself or on the box) you could go to the police and inform them your GPS was stolen and provide them your serial number. If you're lucky and the police finds a gang of thieves and they find lot's of stolen things, they will check the serial numbers through the police computer to check if they're not reported as stolen. Then there is a chance you will get your GPS back.

Forgot my pin

Wedll if this is not a stolen GPS Then the matter is simple. Take it back to the exact coordinates that you set the pin in. Then you will be able to access the pin setup and reset it to a new password. Your only other choice is to send it to Garmin, but if it has been listed as stolen, then expect the cops! No one forgets their pin or fails to remember the instructions for setting and recovering their pin.

Unfortunately, even if you perform master reset on Garmin GPS unit, it does not reset Garmin Lock security feature, which password-protect most Garmin electronic devices to deter theft. If you forget the PIN or password unlock code to unlock the Garmin unit, the best solution is to bring it to Garmin to get unlocked. “

Stolen garmin

No, the unit can not be tracked by radio signals as its a receive only device, however I would contact garmin and let them know (in addition to your local police dept.) that it has been stolen. If you buy a new GPS there are measures you can take to prevent theft & help recover a stolen GPS. Please see this link:

My Gps was stolen, none of my paper work has a serial number on it ,so i give proper information to the police, its a gps nuvi 255 w i got it at pep boys at east brunswick ,nj

Do you remember registering your gps when you bought it? If so your serial number will be on file with Garmin. In fact, if you registered on their website you will be able to find it youself by going to mygarmin.com and checking My Registered Products. If you did not register it then I really don't know what you can do, you certainly did the right thing by reporting it to the police. If it is recovered you should be able to prove it's yours by the contents within the unit. If you used the Garmin Lock feature it will be of no use to anybody else. Good Luck.
