Samsung 61 inch issue

The picture is slanted from left to right. the entire picture is off. when you see words on the screen, like on espn at the bottom, you can see everything on the left of the tv but as you make your view to the right the script is cut off the bottom, it's like it's off about 1 inch. This is the same on top of the screen.

The whole screen on the right shift up about an inch. It's pretty clear when I display a computer desktop screen.

Samsung 61

If using a cable or sat box try a DVD etc when set cold, a box can cause lockup issues via signal.

Not a color wheel is correct, more likely a DMD which is rather pricy and almost as much as the entire light engine which comes with it.

Make sure the projector's throw is pointed directly at the target ie. screen or wall etc. there's not much else it could be.

My toshiba tn61x81 projection tv

have you tried the convergence option in the menu? i believe it is under "picture". this allows for nine different sections of the screen to be adjusted when projection images get out of whack.

Picture slants right to left

Hope you have fixed this problem by now, if that tv is unserviced, I mean if nobody has ever opened it, it could be a problem with the positioning of your tv, just tilt the tv in different positions and find out the position in which it will show the right fit. If it is serviced, especially yoke is changed, this is rare, it could be because the position of yoke is not aligned properly.
