SAMSUNG DLP HL-S5086W

WHEN THE TV TURNS ON THE GREEN LIGHT BLINKS BUT IT NEVER COMES ON----ALSO NOW THE BULB LIGHTS UP BUT USUALLY TURNS OFF AFTER ABOUT 10 OR 15 SECONDS AFTER THE TV IS TURNED ON. ONCE AGAIN THE LIGHTS BLINK ON AND OFF BUT THE TV NEVER TURNS ON.

    same problem with HL-R4266W... bulb turns on, i get a glow but no picture, then it turns off. i was told it's too expensive to fix ($750) and i should just get a new tv... is this true?

    PLEASE HELP...I was told a simalar cost to fix my HL P5663W 62", and that I needed to replace a video card which costs $750 through bizrate.com + additional labor cost's. So far I have not been able to find any information that confirms this. PLEASE HELP...

Dlp lamp light blinks but tv will not come on
if the wheel is broken or missing pieces you get a grinding sound, and set will shut down as set sees it is not moving at correct speed.

with lamp removed look at the wheel.
