Cant instal record channels tried manuel and auto store no luck

Auto channel search is how your tv finds channels that are available. Under settings in the menu should be initial set up. There you will find channel search.

Just do a channel auto search through the menu and channels should be memorized.

reprogram all the chanels, go to set up then auto program,after you finish sort the desired channels,or you can store it manually

Try Auto re-tune after complete look in manuel tuning menu for chanel sort and change chanel location if needed

G into the menu function and look for channel search.Usually pretty easy to find .Manual add and auto settings. Use auto if new channels are already operating.Otherwise use manual

i have tried to tune in a sky digibox that have not used for a couple of years,i can only tune in the first 9 chanels for some reason.any clues what i am doing wrong

if you are useing a cabel box you need to split your cable before the cable box with a two set coupler and run the second cable line to the VCR input and this should solve your problem. if you want to record the chanels from your cable box and not watch a diffrent chanel you can leave it hooked as is and select the chanel you want to record with your cable box tunner and leave it turned on, set the vcr to record channel 3 or 4 which ever is the channel you leave your tv tunner on and record that way.

L1 and L2 are different inputs on the VCR.If you have red, white and yellow input on the front of the VCR then when you put the VCR on L1 it should pick up a signal from the front.To get more channels on your vcr you want to do an autoprogram make sure the cable from the wall is plugged into the input in the back and go to the menu on the VCR and look for channel search or auto program and start the search.usually you can find this setting under something like SETUP, Programming,settings on the main menu of the VCR.You may have to search in the menu of the vcr for a little bit until you find it.Youll know when you got it when the channels automatically start scanning from 1-98.GOOD LUCK and rate me if this fixesya or is helpful.

Auto installation should search for local tv stations, or add new channels, then it will search for new ones.
