It was working fine until yesterday. It shut itself off. I powered it back on and befor the screen could come back on it shut itself off. I checked cables and uplugged it for 24 hours. The first time it turns on after being disconnected from power it might come on for 20 seconds and then it shuts off. The only thing happening is a intermittent green flashing LED light on the front.

Hi Daniel,

Please check if you can access the "error code operational check" to narrow down where the fault came from.
How to enter to error code operational check.
Note : The TV must be in shutdown and not have been switched off. When the TV is switched off, the error code automatically resets to 12 (no error).
Press the buttons on the front panel "Input/Device" and "Menu" at the same time and hold it for 5 sec, activate the error code mode. The LED light will flashes denoting a two digit error code.
Example : if the error code is 22, the led will flash two times pause and then flash two times and will repeat the error code for five times.

If you can't access the error code operational check , please let me know the exact pattern of the flashes of the led light and its color. Check if it will continually flashes green to give you the caused of the symptoms and best solution.

Good luck and take care.

Blink Pause Blink Blink, However it does not repeat unless you release the buttons on the front and push them again. after the first sequence which is error code 12 it goes to a long pause and then 3 flashes that repeat.

"12" means that the processor didn't detect an error. May I know what is the behavior of the led light when you turn on the unit, does it has a pattern of flashes, continually flashes and what its color(green or red)?

When I first turn it on it will blink green 3 times and then shut down. Then the green LED will blink 3 times and wait 30 seconds and blink 3 times and continue that pattern.

Flashing of the green led light 3 times and the stuck to this pattern means that the PCB signal board is faulty. It can't initialize when you turn it on that's why it automatically shuts down and try to initialize again and again.

To have an idea where this board located inside, click the link below.

You have to replaced this board to resolve the issue.

I have a link for the V16 signal board but I'm not sure if it is the same part/board no as your unit. Here's the link http://www.ebay.com/itm/ws/eBayISAPI.dll... . Please check the actual part/board no. of your unit, it is printed on the board itself. If it is 930B861002 then you can buy the board on ebay.

How do you get the board out to view the part number?

  • Anonymous Nov 22, 2011

Nevermind, I got the board out and it matches, so I will buy it, if I have any problems I will ask for help.

    Hi Daniel,

Sad to hear that there's another problem on your TV. I would advice you to please double check the connectors to the board. Ensure that they are properly seat-in. Pull-out all connectors and then re-insert also the board connected to the signal board.

If still the symptoms persist, please take a picture of the screen and email it to me [email protected]. I will check if you have a convergence problem.

Since you have another TV with the same problem you can try using an antenna(indoor model ok) to see if the cable is causing the problem. If not return TV before the warranty expires.
