Lisa coolers similar to yours=> Whirlpool Dual-Temp Top-Loading Water Cooler
It appears that customers gave a not so good review yet being inexpensive this is common when most products are imported from China. The WHKM-D10 that you have now is now called the WHKM-10DP Whirlpool Dual-Temp Top-Loading Water Cooler with Heated Water. Wish I had better news, but please keep me in mind for any other Whirlpool, Maytag, Kitchenaid, Jenn-Air, Amana,or GE Home Appliances, Thanks, John Tripp/AKA Sea Breeze

I have a Everstar HDWC35 that chills the wine so cold that the corks pop out when the wine freezes even though the temperature is set at 58

The most likely cause is that you have a bad temperature sensor. Some wine coolers will display the set temperature, not actual temperature so although you set it for 58°, the temperature inside is much colder. If the temperature sensor is bad, then it's likely sending a signal to the control board that says it like 99° so the wine cooler is always trying to cool down to 58°. If you have an independent thermometer, put it in the wine cooler and see what it reads.

FYI, bad temperature sensor are pretty common in wine coolers. It's a design flaw that most manufacturers are just recently correcting.

Walk in chiller.Evap freezing up, Appears to start freezing just after the TX valve.R22 HP 235psi LP 40psi. Sight glass no bubbles. Suspect TX valve. Have adjusted in and out with no change. Any...

First front seat the valve stem on the expansion valve (in all the way), then backseat the valve (out) six turns. Next pump the system down and change the drier, evacuate, open the "King-Valve" on the receiver and allow refrigerant to circulate. Rule of thumb (ole school) measure ambient temperature add 25*F convert this temperature to pressure for head pressure. Also check RLA (running load amperage).
Allow system to run about 2 hours then check TXV Superheat should be 6*F for low temperature.

I have a watercooler that freezes. Water will not come out of the spout because it is frozen inside the system. it is not the temperature gage on that back of the machine. I have experimented with that.

Fridge freezing up

Check the fridge sensor. On my Hoover HNMF2805AL80 f/f, first I replaced control module - still freezing.
Have just replaced cheap fridge temperature sensor. Part No. 97061619. Trouble is you have to cut into insulation at back of fridge to replace. I just plugged in sensor & placed inside fridge at back at the bottom - so far so good, only lettuce freezing now, everything else v. cold but not frozen. :)

Viking Wine Cellar Temperature Near-Freezing

Viking wine coolers are made by Marvel. They all had issues with freezing the contents. If you replace the electronic cold control system it will be fine.If you don't, it will freeze the wine popping the corks and leaking in the unit.If you get the parts from Marvell they are much cheaper.

My ice maker stopped making ice.We have the Whirlpool Imperial Series with the water and ice in the door. The water dispenser is working fine.

The heater has a timer, and a temperature sensor. It senses when the water has turned to ice the temperature has reached certain degree. If the sensor or the timer malfunction then you would end up with the heater coming on too soon and the ice would not have time to freeze.

After pugging in the water cooler, the fan starts running, all good water is cold but the fan never turns off. is this normal.

Yes except if it has a temperature control but would cut off only when it has reached the desired temperature, and water coolers are not the efficiency compared to a heat pump or air-conditioning, it only cools the air with the water running over the pads so whatever the temperature of the water is that’s the temperature the cooler will cool the air to. so in theroy it will only drop the temprature 10 to 15 degrees.

Whirlpool watercooler hold a 5 gallon bottler won't cool

The thermostat is suspect if the compressor is room temp and you do not have voltage at the compressor.
Do you have voltage at the compressor?

I cannot dispense water from the cold water/fan runs all the time

first of what temperature are you running is the refrigerator and also what is the ambient temp? whats happeneing is that the water resevour is freezing in the back of the refrigerator . So if the temperature is say 34 iit can actually be a lot colder in the regfriigerator than that due to temperature averaging. Thanks fpor using Fixya and Merry Christmas
