If the room tempature is close to 60, the coils may be frozen (completely encased in ice). If this is the case, move it where the water can drain off - about 1 gallon which may NOT run into the drain bucket.
I out mine over the floor drain.
Turn off and it will defost over night.
Only specially made dehumidifers work below a room temo of 60 degrees (the temp of a basement in winter).
Does it need to be running? A digital humidity sensot from Radio Shack is cheap and may tell you the humidity is OK - only 50% or less.

Hi..my name is Keith..and your unit has lost is evaporation/cooling capabilities...and its usually do to a freon leak..or the compressor has went out...i would suggest you buying another dehumidifer..i wish i had better news..i hope this has helped and im not always 100% correct..write back with any questions and i will try to help
I dropped the water bucket by accident on the dehumidifier, and I have the same problem. Here what I found : First, remove the water bucket and find the circuit diagram, it is very useful.
E1 code is related to the room humidity sensor, E2 code is related to the room temperature sensor and E3 code is related to the safety thermistor sensor. If you have one of these error code displayed, you will probably have to replace the sensor.
The humidity and temp sensors are located on the same board. To access it, remove the water bucket and you will see the 2 screws holding the front panel. Remove the screws, then gently prayed the front panel. Be careful, there is two plastic clip on the top of the panel and they are really easy to break. The board is located at the top right, under the cover. The safety thermistor is located on a pipe on the right side of the dehumidifier.
