Does the TV have an HDMI port on the back of the TV? Example: DVD player HDMI out to TV HDMI in. then on the TV select input and choose the HDMI port number you connected the cable to on the TV
I am lost on ur question, do u mean the TV will not show anything from ur Dish? I always use HDMI cables, quick and easy hook up. now when u use HDMI cable u will need to go into your TV menu or look on the TV (Sanyo, Phillips,, etc) remote and locate the Input, Source, Antenna button. and go the the correct video stream that u have hooked up to on back of ur TV. U should see HDMI 1 HDMI 2 etc choose each one till u get a picture.
High definition multimedia interface cables are a type of audio/video (AV) cable that hook between your electronic media component and television. HDMI cables allow transfer of high quality audio and video signals between devices with the use of a single cable. HDMI is widely used with current generation video game systems, Blu-ray video players, and high-end video playback hardware. In order to make use of HDMI cables, your television must be compatible with the proper HDMI ports present on the set. First, plug the HDMI cable into the port located on your media device. Then Plug the other end of the HDMI cable into an available HDMI slot on your television. Switch the output on your television to the HDMI slot you have the cable connected to.
HDMI (High Definition Media Interface) is just a specific kind of interface, a connection type and can't really influence color.
No knowing which interface you are using, it's hard to make any suggestions but some connection types can suffer from an impedance mismatch which can cause color problems.
Sit down with your manual for each of these to see which kinds of connections you have that are common to both and try others you have to see if another type can improve the color problem you have.
