What do i set my computer to so i can watch it on this tv

If it is an LCD monitor it will not have any cable input or components to watch TV. Look behind the monitor to see if there is any cable input if it does have it than you can watch TV if not you will need a computer.

If you have a cable box and can set your TV to channel 3 then you should be able to watch cable. If you want to watch over the air broadcasts then you need a digital converter box which you can buy at Best Buy for around 40 dollars. You use the converter box as the tuner and set your TV on channel 3.

Whatever software you are using on that computer to watch TV, make sure its set to cable and also have it do a search for all the channels. At that point it should find all the channels up to 65. If it still doesn't then it could be a problem with the cable connector on the computer but I would first hook up the wire to a regular tv to make sure it is indeed able to go up to 65 so you know for sure.

You need an Auvio USB to TV adapter. Radio Shack or any electronic place should have it. Amazon also carries it.

If you talking about on one screen, you cant. BUT you can buy a TV card for your computer so that it will have a built in TV. so you can theoretically have split screen TV and computer. But what your thinking off only works on 2 or more player games consoles

look on the back or sides of the unit. it should have a hdmi cable hookup, it will look like a monitor input, then you have to make sure you set the tv input to that. then you have to set your laptop to add another monitor to be able to use it.

That problem might be on the remote of display settings on video display. There is one button that will turn that off. Try Display Settings
