I have had service on the Motorola i465 for over 2 years now. Yesterday, I transfered the service to a new handset which I am unhappy with. I am trying to transfer the service back to the i465. The Boost rep walked me through master reset but when I entered "000000" the phone stated that the security code was incorrect. The Motorola rep has advised that I should return the phone to them to have it reset, which would take 5-7 days at least. How can I reset the security code for the master reset myself?

the default security code for Motorola phones is 000000. The service provider may have changed it, however, at time of purchase.
SOURCE: what is the 4 digit default lock code or phone lock of motorola L6???...
please e mail me... [email protected] ....what is the default lock code of motorola L6.. im not talking about the 6 digits code or (000000)... example: when you want to lock the multimedia it requires 4 digit only... I already reset my phone.. (master clear and master reset) it requires the 6 digits code (000000).. I was expecting that the 4 digits code will be returned to default.. I tried (1234), (0000) and (1111 to 9999).. all I know is the default 6 digits code (000000) to reset my phone..

if you're looking to view the security code, you need to dial six 0's not four. If you want to get into the programming menu dial #073887* fastly and enter the six zeros.
SOURCE: I need the PUK code for my I465 Boost Mobile
Hi, If your handset asks for PUK code, you need to contact the service provider and provide them 20 digit sim number for the PUK code . Service provider numbers will be toll free. Once you get the PUK code, enter it . And then it will ask for new PIN number, you need to enter 0000 twice. Hope I helped you. Thanks for using ' Fixya ' and have a nice day!!

NETWORK UNLOCK CODE:
You can unlock it by flashing your mobile if your mobile is a CDMA mobile...
The procedure for flashing your mobile is in the link below

It has an video explanation.
If your mobile is not an CDMA mobile , you can get the network unlock code(NUC) by just contacting the current network provider customer caredepartment. It is free of cost.
Therestrictioncodecan be got from your old service provider..This restriction code iskeptto prevent someone who stole themobile from using it withanotherprovider...
They will have a security check done with your date of birth etc..to verify whether you are the exact owner of the phone..
After that they will provide you the restriction code to unlock it and use it with another service provider..
It is all free of cost donot pay anyone for this seeing some advertisement over internet . That is all fake ads.
