Locate the part number online by searching for the tool's model number "parts list" Once you have that information you can visit you local Fastenal and they can order it for you. Paslode will not sell directly to the public on spare parts. They will point you in the direction of a service center. I only know of two: Fastenal and Fasteners Inc.

How do I replace the upper probe assembly #78 in my paslode finish nailer IM250

With the old IM250 (900400) you remove the lower probe, open the nose release, the upper probe will turn slightly and come out.
With the newer models you have to disassemble the tool and separate the handle halves to remove the probe.

Paslode im250

There should be a depth adjustment on the gun. This allows you to control how deep the nails sink. The adjustment is usually on front face of gun and just above the tip. You might want to contact paslode to see if they can give you any ideas .

Paslode im250 works fine but makes loud gun like bang noise, can I reduce bang sound.

Take a look at the internals and see if there is an air leak or muffler problem:

Paslode (30 degrees) framing gun firing pin not retracting

The tool needs to be completely torn down, cleaned out, two orings inside need replaced, re-lubed and re-assembled. takes a technician about 1 hour to do it right. I believe either the orings or dirt is your problem. If blade doesn't return its probably the orings.
