If the light just constantly blicks green and doesnt stop. You will need the" V26 DM repair kit " which will usually repair that issue. You can get the repair kit at the following link which includes the replacement capacitor and instructions

This has happened to me two times in the past after power outages. I have read about the bad capacitors etc. but resolution seems hit or miss. I don't know if this will work for anyone else but both times the tv would not turn on even after unplugging or resetting it did work again. I unplugged the tv and then pressed the reset button. The light still was blinking and I left it plugged in for at least 48 hours (the light still blinking). After this (inexact time frame), pressing the reset button resulted in the green light stopping blinking (after a minute or two) and the TV powered as normal.
I wish you luck and apologize if this doesn't work for you in the same manner, but you may want to try this before more radical measures.

I have the Mitsubishi WD-62424 bought in January of 2005. It also has the continually flashing green light. The first time this happened the reset didn't work but unplugging the set did. Now nothing works. I've e-mailed Mitsubishi and I'll be calling repair places. My concern is that it seems to be a DM module that has gone bad and I've seen reports of it being backordered until December.

i have the exact same problem. It happened to me couple months ago, I unplugged the power and it solved the problem. However, it happened to me last night again, and this time unplugging the power does not fix the problem. The green timer light keeps flashing.
i have a mitsubishi wd-60c8. It would not power up. Any suggestion?
