YOU can call prestige tech support at 1800 225 5074.. or just put the key in the ignition turn the key all the way to the right without starting the car then flip the vallet switch usually located at the bottom of the dash drivers side, flip the switch on and off three times, you will hear a chirp then you should press the first button on the remote for 2 seconds then flip the swith on and off one more time , then press the second button the remote for 2 seconds then flip the switch again on and off one more time then press the 3rd button on the remote for 2 seconds... After which... remove the key from the ignition and your done... Try the remote to see if it works the way it should if not do it all over again..

Could be several causes for this...most likely there's a safety check feature that keeping the remote start from activating. Most remote start systems have a shutdown diagnostic feature that will indicate why the system is immediately shutting down before the remote start is activating. Check in the installation manual towards the back for how to initiate the shutdown diagnostics for your particular model. Some basic things that would keep a remote start from working would be the brake wire connected incorrectly, an improperly installed hood pin, no tachometer signal programmed, or improper starter wire connections. If everything seems to check out ok, put a voltmeter in the yellow 12 gauge wire at the ignition harness and see if you get 12 volts during both crank with the key and crank via the remote starter. If you don't get anything during crank with the remote starter than there's an underlying issue that needs to be addressed first to pinpoint the exact problem. If this is a wireless ignition system (no metal stem on key) then the issue may be with the bypass module. The unit may need to be reset if the technician cut wires during the installation.
