you will need the restore cdrom's to fix this issue. sounds like you the wrong upates! you should only updates that come from the sony web site for your particular sony item. refer to sony tech support.
We cannot even suspect that it is a hardware issue beacuse you can get it into safe mode however you are not able to enter the BIOS.
Which is the operating system in your computer?
Since when are you facing this particular issue?
Did you make any hardware or software changes after which this happend?
Please provide me with all the above details.
Post back for more solutions we will be happy to help you. Hope this helps. Cheers!!!!
This is a known issue with the Video Card in your computer. Hence, Sony will cover the cost of repair (parts and labor) at no charge and, in addition to the standard limited 12 month warranty. Click on the link below to get info on this:
put recovery disc in to drive reboot press F2 to go into boot options, set cd/dvd rom to first boot save and exit reboot.when all done F2 again and then Press F9 set to default. hope this helps.
If you have the recovery disk(s) shut the computer off and boot from the cd. Try repairing the installation first. You may need to re-install Windows, meaning any data on the machine will be lost. Good luck.
sounds like an unhappy hard drive..can you try F8 when it starts to boot, before the logo hits the screen, that takes it to SAFE mode. try the last known good configuation option, if it is there. otherwise, safe mode
