Hello, a week ago the small second hand (not long chrono second hand) got stucked and my irony swatch just stop moving. Although the chronometer could be running if started... The small hand just didn't move.
I tried different tricks, like removing battery, pull out main wheel and use chrono buttons to reset arms. Etc.
Today I noticed that when turning the wheel backwards a couple of times (one or two hours back) the little hand moved one second back... Pushing wheel back to On possition made the small hand move forward one second and get stucked again.
Then I did this procedure a couple of times, at some point I turned the wheel back for a while (may be 5 full turns) and noticed the small hand moved more than one second (5, 10, 15 seconds backward)... when I noticed it was moving freely I pushed wheel to on position and noticed the small second hand was running normal.. I hope it works for some of you. Greettings from Canada
The seconds hand is purely a 60 second timer mate! It's the small crono dial at the top which is actually the real seconds hand! To get it going you need to unscrew your top adjusting wheel and push it once.....and it will start and the watch will hold time fine! To stop the large seconds timer hand undo the bottom adjusting wheel and push it! Boom job done! It caught me out aswell until a watch maker told me Rolex works the same and what you think is your seconds hand is just a timer the other hands won't follow hope this helps chaps
Your watch is Chronograph watch and the big centre seconds hand is for chronograph function only - not day to day seconds counting. Check the small dials and you will see that the small seconds hand is already counting seconds- this small one is seconds counter. To engage chrono hand push the upper push button once. To stop it - push the same button again. to return to zero- push lower button.

Hey, it sounds like your watch is just fine! A nice watch to inherit.
The small second hand on the sub-dial is your normal second hand.
The large second hand is the second timer for your chronograph feature.
It should only move when you hit the side buttons. One of them (usually the top plunger/ button) will start the Chrono timer and then hitting it again will stop it. The bottom button should reset the hand to the 12 o'clock/ zero marker.
If the large hand is not functioning at all then there may be something wrong with the watch; perhaps the buttons are not making full contact within the watch or the hand may be stuck and need repair.
Hope this answers your questions. Post more questions if need be.
Congrats on your new watch.
If you want to do it yourself you have to get the movement out first. When its done, take tweezers and carefully lift the seconds hand by the pointed end. Hand is made of flexible material and will not brake if lifted just a tiny bit.
Got the same problem guys. i have one of the new electronic diving eco drives.
First time i managed to get it going again, by forcing all the hands to the top for diving mode, then back to normal, this action ´nudged´the minute hand back into motion, but a little later it stuck again at the same spot.
I guess mines going back to the factory, and i´m gonna b watchless for a few weeks :(
i also have the same problem with my technomarine watch (tmcs05). would you perhaps have gotten any answers? thanks.
