Question about Hitachi 50VS810 Television
Tv was working ok, then the last couple of times I turned it on it would work for maybe 10 minutes and then shut itself off. That happen the first time and I just turned it back on and it worked fine. Next time I turned the tv on it did it again, but this time I noticed a burning smell and a clicking buzzing noise as it the tv shut itself down.

First check for a faulty capacitor on the power supply board as it sounds like that could be the first place to start. Before you touch any capacitors PLEASE find articles on the internet concerning discharging them as one stray discharge incorrectly could not only destry your tv but hurt you or even KILL!!! Ignore any articles that tell you to use a screwdriver. Good luck.
