Look for the DataTraveller in My Computer and then just copy and paste or cut and paste any files you want straight to the DataTraveler.
Right click on the file, select copy or cut (cut will move the file permanently, copy will just make a copy of it)
Right click the DataTraveler and paste.

How do i download music to a 2GB Kingston Datatraveler

Hi,
Such kind of flash disks or external pen drives, shown as a new disk when you attached it to computer.

Please plug-in your kingston to usb port of your computer.
Open an file explorer (or double click on to the "my computer" icon).

You can see the drives currently attached to your system. If there is a floppy drive it named with the letter A.

Your hard disk(s) identified by the letters starting with C and CD/DVD rom D.

Your kinkston also shown with the next letter just after the HDD and CD/DVD under normal conditions.

Please click onto the letter that identifies your kingston and see the content at the right pane.

You can then copy your music files and paste into the kingston .Like normal file operations.

regards.

My flash drive made is kingston 8gig and all my files inside are been headen by virus pls what do i do now pls help

If your files are being hidden, you can open it on your computer and then on the Windows Explorer, if you are using Windows, click Tools, Folder Options, View and then choose Show Hidden files and Folders.

Once you were able to see your original files, copy it onto your computer. Make sure though that you will not copy the comprised file or the virus itself. Do a quick scan or if you are sure that you already have backed up your original files, reformat the flash drive.

hello evelymont i found a solution to our problem!!try to download HP USB Disk Storage Format Tool and try to formta the flash stick to fat32 file system!!And after that you're ready to store any file you want unless you put them in a folder first because of the fat32 file system and not saving them on the root for exaple if you want to store an avi file at E: where E: is your kingston usb data traveler save the avi like this e:/name of the folder/avi file, and not in the root e:/avi file!!
that 's it !!congrats for your buy!!
