SOURCE: Gas wall heater won't light

You need to bled the line longer and when you get lited hold down for a good minute. When the gas gave out ,there could trash in the line.I would take the line off and blow gas through it undtil you can smell it.

I have American Range Fryer, pilot lites, than once I put it in the ON position it immediately lights it self without putting it on a set temp. When it reaches temp it should shut off n pilot still stays...

Yes, that is the way it should operate. It sounds as though the thermostat has failed. If gas it coming out of places where it shouldn't, you need it professionally servicing and the gas flow adjusting.

Burner won't light, pilot is burning just fine.

Once you get the pilot to light and stay lit did yall move the burner knob to the ON position? Is the temp knob all the way up?

I turned on hot water to take a bath, and it was hot. by the time the tub had filled the water was freezing. now we cant seem to get hot water out of anywhere. the pilot light is on. the knob is set to on,...

if I was a betting may I would say that this is a small water heater, what is the temperature set on, as the pilot light will be lit once the temperature is reached, but until then the burners will be lit. I would move the temperature knob and listen to see if I hear the burners kick on. Hope this helps Tim

Hi i have a new imperial fryer and im tring to light it and cant seem to get it to work. any idea on how to get it working?

Have a lighter handy (I use one of the elongated ones for caravaners)
in-between the burners is a pilot light (top right) keep the lighter flame where the gas comes out.
On the right hand side of the fryer at the bottom is a gas valve with a little black knob.
Press and hold the black knob in and gas will come out of the pilot light and ignite by the lighter flame. You need to hold the button in for quite a while. (until it stays lit)
When it stays lit depress the little black knob and turn it anti clockwise. Gas comes out of the burners and ignites from the pilot light. When it reaches temp. it will cut out.
To turn it off turn the little black knob clockwise. To turn the pilot light off, push and turn clockwise.

Pilot goes out when fryer reaches set temp. and shuts-off.

try to change the thermal battery the device that the pilot heats.. other wise there is a screw at the botton of the automatic valve.. try to increase the pilot so it can heat more the thermal battery! u dont have enough voltage to activate the solenoid valve so thats why ur pilot goes off
