Hi,

You can try accessing your computer's BIOS and reset it to defaults. If the issue is still the same then I believe its already a problem with the CMOS battery , you can either reseat the CMOS battery or change it with a new one.

Welcome Screen Freeze

Switch ON the PC, boot the PC in 'Safe Mode' by continuously tapping F8 button after you switch On.

Let windows boot in Safe Mode and log in to windows.

Go to 'Start'--->Programs--->Accessories--->System Tools--->Click 'System Restore'

Can not open emails

If you were able to open emails earlier then this will work.
If you are using Windows XP
