The reason was that I was running my jail-broken Iphone4 on version 4.2.1 I also tried everything even contacted the what's app and no solution after I've updated my software on itunes I've downloaded again whats app and it's working now hope this helps ho and if you have a jail-broken iPhone
Don't forget to save your jailbroken files before updating the software like me and now I have do do it
All again lol and also jailbroke is available for the new version 4.3.5

i dont have a solution but a question really. I installed whatsapp yesterday, but on the screen where I enter my number, i get a HTTP error #42. Any idea how to fix this problem.
