No you don't need any special tool . Find all screws on out side of door trim panel and the window handle , the mirror cover plate , then just pull on edge of the panel .
Gently pry the front side door trim panel (3) from the front side door by disengaging the plastic retainers which secure the panel.
Position the door trim panel (3) away from the door in order to gain access to the front side window switch electrical connector, if equipped.
Disconnect the window switch electrical connector, if equipped.
Remove the door trim panel (3) from the vehicle.
Remove the front side window switch from the door trim panel (3) by releasing the 4 plastic retaining tabs, as needed.
Use a cloth in order to pull off the snap ring which secures the front side door window regulator handle (1), if equipped.
Remove the window regulator handle (1), if equipped.
Remove the front side master window switch, if equipped. Refer to Power Accessory Switch Panel Replacement .
Remove the front side door inside handle (1). Refer to Front Side Door Inside Handle Replacement .
Remove the outside rearview mirror opening cover (2).
Remove the screw which secures the front side door pull handle (4).

Removal Procedure
Remove the screw which secures the front side door inside handle (1).
Slide the inside handle (1) forward in order to release the retaining tabs which secure the handle to the door.
Open the front side door inside handle rod retainer and remove the front side door inside handle rod from the inside handle (1).
Remove the inside handle (1) from the vehicle.
You have not mentioned the model but you will have to open the inside lining of the tray holders , to remove to get access to the handle fitting screws, which can be removed to fix the new one.
probably need a new window regulator. ebay. 93 to 98 should fit.

REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION
Trim Panel(s), Door
Front Removal
Disconnect the battery ground cable (14301) if equipped with power locks or power windows.
CAUTION: Use care when removing the front door inside handle escutcheon (22620). Failure to do so can result in damage to the component.
Carefully pry off the front door inside handle escutcheon by inserting a standard 1/4 inch screwdriver between the top rear portion of the front door inside handle escutcheon and the front door trim panel (23942) .
If equipped with manual windows, slip a clean shop rag between the window regulator handle (23342) and the front door trim panel .
Pull the shop rag back and forth to release the window regulator handle clip.
Remove the three cover caps and front door trim panel screws.
Remove the one front door trim panel capped screws from the door pull handle.
If equipped with power windows, remove the door pull handle. Disconnect the electrical connectors.
Slide a flat-bladed tool behind each of the retainers and twist the tool to disengage the front door trim panel from the front door (20124) .
Remove the front door trim panel.
Installation
To install, reverse the removal procedure.

Window Regulator, Power
Front Door Removal
Disconnect the battery ground cable (14301) .
Remove the front door window glass (21410) . Refer to the front door window glass removal procedure in this section.
Remove the two front door brace bolts and the front door brace.
Disconnect the front window regulator electric drive electrical connector.
Remove the four front door window glass regulator track bolts.
Remove the three front window regulator electric drive bolts.
Remove the front door window glass regulator track and the front window regulator electric drive (23394) as an assembly through the opening in the front door (20124) .
Installation
Install the front door window glass regulator track and the front window regulator electric drive as an assembly through the opening in the front door .
Install the three front window regulator electric drive bolts. Tighten the front window regulator electric drive bolts securely.
Install the four front door window glass regulator track bolts. Tighten the front door window glass regulator track bolts securely.
hi-- the inner door handle is tricky! it is held in by clips that SLIDE BACKWARDS!! apply a little inward pressure then slide the handle assembly back!!-- then you will have to remove the metal rod from the handle----------putting it back is the reverse.----cheers
you need to remove the blank where the lock barrell would be fitted if it was drivers side.to do this remove the black plastic bung that is located on the edge of the door ,then pull the handle as if you were opening the door and hold it in that position,then insert a 20 torx screwdriver in the exposed hole from pulling the bung out and unscrew untill you start to feel resistance ,the screw will not come out you are just slackening it.then you will be able to release handle and pull out blank or barrell if you have one fitted.then flick the cable out the handle ,you can then pull handle towards the back edge of the door and un hook it from door.holding the handle while you are unscrewing the screw is important if you dont the retainer can fall of and end up in the door........not good....
Remove the front door speaker. For additional information, refer to Section 415-00.
Remove the speaker watershield.
Remove the 2 speaker standoffs.
If equipped, remove the window regulator handle.
Separate the handle cover from the handle.
Remove the screw.
Remove the window regulator handle.
Remove the spacer.
Remove the window control switch. For additional information, refer to Section 501-11.
Remove the bolt.
Remove the 2 front door lower bolts.
Remove the door handle cover plate.
Remove the 2 door handle screws.
Remove the front door handle.
Guide the door handle through the opening in the trim panel.
CAUTION: Do not pull directly outward on the front door trim panel, as damage may occur.
Remove the front door trim panel.
Lift upward to remove the front door trim panel.
To install, reverse the removal procedure.
