heres wht u need to do ..
Click Start
, type regedit in the Start Search box, and then click regedit in thePrograms list.
If you are prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type your password, or click Continue.
Locate, and then click the following registry subkey:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Class\{4D36E965-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}Caution There can be many instances of the registry subkey that is mentioned in step 2. You must make sure that you are in the appropriate registry subkey before modifying the UpperFilters and the LowerFilters values. To verify that you are in the appropriate registry subkey, make sure that the Default data value is DVD/CD-ROM and the Class data value is CDROM.
In the right pane, right-click UpperFilters, and then click Delete.
Click Yes to confirm the removal of the UpperFilters registry entry.
In the right pane, right-click LowerFilters, and then click Delete.
Click Yes to confirm the removal of the LowerFilters registry entry.
Exit Registry Editor, and then restart the computer.

Try a different USB port. Check if other USB devices are found when in that port.
Unplug other USB devices (keep your keyboard and monitor attached) and check if the device is recognized. Since you indicate that you used the front port, you may want to check that the cable between back of the port to the motherboard is fully seated on both sdes. Make sure that the OS hasn't been set to turn off the previously unused USB ports (this is a security and power-saving option).
Just open Device manager and click the walkman device that has the code 41 then uninstall the driver. . . then reconnect the walkman it will install back and able to access again . I tried it once and it works
Hi,
see if its recognised in the Device Manager. Start/My computer/Control Panel/System/Device manager.
if so remove or uninstall the Drive.
Physically remove/eject the drive from the Computer. reboot then shutdown. re-insert the Drive. boot computer and see if it,s detected by the system or ( found new hardware Wizard )
re-install any drivers as requested. Installing SP3 shouldn,t do this. unless the drive was actually Virused Or failing already.
THIS WOULD DEFINETELY SOLVE YOUR ISSUE 1. Click on START button, the click on RUN 2. Enter REGEDIT and press enter 3. When REGEDIT starts, open up the following folders HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE SYSTEM CurrentControlSet Control Class {4D36E965-E325 -11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318} 4. After clicking on {4D36E965-E325 -11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318} you should see two settings on the right-hand side: "Upperfilters" "Lowerfilters" Click on each of them, press DELETE and click YES. Then close REGEDIT, shutdown & restart your PC
This error occurs when Windows does not detect a non-Plug and Play device. If the device was removed, uninstall the driver, install the device, and then click Scan for hardware changes to reinstall the driver. If the hardware was not removed, obtain a new or updated driver for the device. Hope this helps
