Could be a fuser problem, but could also be very poor quality toner cartridge(s). If a remanufacturer/compatible maker uses the wrong toner powder, it can have the wrong characteristics.

I've seen these printers with poor quality cartridges able to print a page with very little toner coverage OK, but jam EVERY page that has much real 'density' of toner. Even the configuration page on these printers has a solid band of red 5mm or so wide across the lower part of the page. Poor toners - where the fusing temperature is incorrect for this printer will cause the page to jam in the same place in the fuser EVERY TIME.

The cure - Genuine Xerox toners, or GOOD QUALITY remanufactured toners from a reputable source.

When the red light blinks on the printer what does it indicate-model-xerox phaser printer 6110

The blinking toner cartridge is low. Order a new toner cartridge. You can temporarily improve print quality by redistributing the toner. See "Redistributing Toner" on page 5.2

from the manual online as pdf: http://download.support.xerox.com/pub/docs/6110/userdocs/any-os/en/Guide_XP.pdf

I have a Xerox Phaser 6180 MFP, and it keeps saying paper jam and there is no jam, what can I do?

Check the fuser for paper stuck in it.

Check that the 'paper out' sensor arm (in the fuser) is not broken. If it IS broken, you'll need a new fuser.

I have not used my Phaser 6110 for about 3 months, and now print quality is bad. It appears to be only the black that is affected. print quality is faint although slightly darker down one side. I have...

This sounds like the doctor blade within the black developer unit inside the image unit has become contaminated. This means that not enough black toner will be attracted to the developer roller. This usually manifests itself as feint thin lines of print running vertically through the text being printed. This can be repaired and is a known issue with this image unit.
If the printer is in warranty tell them you want it replaced, if not then take the image unit back to the supplier you bought it from and demand a replacement.

A red light all the time on xerox phaser 6110.

I think I might know what this is. Mine did the same and I removed the waste toner cartridge (grey L shapped unit to the right of the colour cartridges under the front panel) I noticed it was quite full but a rocked it from side to side to settle the contents (be carefull as they can come out) and when refitted the light stayed off when powered up. I'm not sure if this waste cartridge needs to be replaced or you can simply tip it out into a bin, but I'll try that tomorrow when I can empty out side.
