Leaking Capresso E9 coffee machine The machine leaks clear, room-temperature water from the bottom right front side (frother side). Leak is apparently from the supply to the heating unit. Problem is that the machine is very difficult to service due to (apparently) special tools/techniques. The cover is held on by Torx screws as well as 4 collared pins that appear to require a special tool to remove without damaging the pin or the cover. Capresso wants $253 (PLUS SHIPPING) to repair it. I am certain this is a simple repair, but I need some advice on removal of those pins, as well as any other info that may pertain.

Your spout is probly cracked (a common problem). It won't hurt the machine if you want to live with making one cup at a time to catch it all.

Disassembly of the grinder is most likely due. There are springs and ball bearings in there so be careful not to lose any parts. I learned that the hard way. I can send a pictorial, written in German, but helpful. e-mail me at [email protected].

SOURCE: My Jura Capresso, Z5 is

Hi

The connectors on capresso machines are very tricky. The reason for the leaking could be to do with the seals. Take it apart and make sure all the rings and pressing clamps are in the right place. Also take a good look and on your hot water tank, and the pressure relief valve in back of machine.

Also it is recommended that the Jura coffee machines to be serviced every 2 years.

My Jura Impressa S9 is leaking clear water from the bottom right side every time I run Rinse or make coffee. The machine has 5 years and never been descaled as per recommendation from Jura.

The heating unit may be corroded. I have an E9 and I run the descaler although I still have a filter installed as well. You can take the cover off the unit and run it to see if the water heating until is leaking (the pressure thru it will burst the seal if it is corroded.). I had a jura that lasted about 5 years - if you can get to the heating unit, you can replace it yourself but it is not a low cost part.

Why does my coffee maker Capresso Team GS leak water?

Hello, what I have found is the most common cause of water leaking out of the bottom of the capresso team coffee maker is a leaking silicone hose that runs to the boiler (See the photo below with the split in the hose). The replacement silicone hose needs to be safe for beverage dispensing, food & dairy processing, taste and odor-free, with a temperature range of -75? to 350? F. All you need is a sharp pick, a phillips screwdriver, and a pair of needle nose pliers. Remove the four rubber pads on the bottom using the pick. Use the screwdriver to remove the six screws holding the bottom plate on. Remove and replace "BOTH" hoses using the needlenose pliers to pinch the hose clamps. Better to play it safe while you have it apart. If one is bad the other is likely not far behind. I hope this helps. acccadfd-0d5d-4c31-b1b9-a56192db9bc2.jpg

Any idea what brand of tubing connectors Jura Capresso uses on their machines and where I can get repalcements? The right angle connector going into the boiler is leaking along the seam.

Legris,
but shorten the tube 5 mm, if the leak is at the tube side.
Mostly it helps.
otherwise change the thermoblock, there are new connectors in.

E8 leak

If leaking water from right front when brewing, cleaning or steam then the possible problem is the feed tube from the pressure pump this is mounted with a small o-ring and either the pipe is fractured or the o-ring has perished.
